All entries will receive confirmation via e-mail. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter. Starter entrants are exempt from USEA membership and the USEA Starter/D&M fee does not apply. Double entries: NOT Accepted. FEI Classes:Athletes whose Horse’s Passport and/or Recognition Card is not correctly validated orfailing to meet other requirements for vaccination and Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled Medication control (Veterinary Regulations Article 1030) will be subject to Sanctions in accordance with Annex II of the Veterinary Regulations.Horses competing at FEI Events must comply with the requirements for Equine Influenza vaccination in accordance with the Veterinary Regulations and as summarized below. Please remember that all FEI horses must use the FEI Horse App and record temperatures. Reminder:All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies.

CCI2L/CCI2S: Cross-Country - 4000 / 3000 meters @520 mpm. Appropriate for the level. Rolling terrain, new ditch. CCI3S/AI/I:Cross-Country - 3570 meters @ 550mpm. CCI1L Will be held on the Horse Center side - approx 2500m @500mpm. Preliminary will be held on Oak Hill (FEI side)Significant investment and upgrades to the Oak Hill cross country including a new coffin and updated water jumps! P-2600 m @ 520 mpm; expect water, banks, ditches, corners and skinnies. All M-2400 mpm @ 490 mpm. All T-2300 m @ 450 mpm, expect water, banks, ditches, angled combinations. All N-2000m @ 400 m, expect water, banks , ditch/log, combination. All BN- 1800m @ 350mpm, expect water, intro ditch, step up. Starter: Inviting course All distances are approx. and will be confirmed at the event. Cross-country courses only available for schooling as scheduled by the VHC.

Awards

CCI: Prizes and 8 ribbons.HT: Prizes and 8 ribbons. TIP Awards for eligible Thoroughbreds. More information is available at:https://tjctip.com/default. USPC high point ribbons for each division FEI Level Young Rider Challengesare held at the FEI events leading up to the Championships. The challenges giveriders a chance to experience the team competition and be observedprior to the Championships. Young Rider Program members will be placed on teams regardless of their age. The top 3 Program members in each division will also be pinned.

Stabling/Veterinarian

All Horses please check in at Stabling office and show a current negative coggins test within 12 months and Health Certificate on horsetraveling over state lines. Please adhere to the FEI arrival times for the In-Barn vet inspections or your horses may end up in Isolation if you arrive out of hours. We will do our best to accommodate emergencies, but please plan to arrive within the hours listed on the schedule. Horses requiring additional stabling nights must e-mail ahead for arrangements. ALL tack stalls $55.00 per night. FEI (short and 1*) and HT: $55.00 per night /day We have 800 permanent stalls on grounds with stall doors provided, no initial bedding. Feed/hay/bedding available for purchase on site. All stabling requests must be in writing by closing date and additional requests or changes after CD may result in a $50 fee. Please no changes to stabling unless approved by the stable manager. Non FEI horses will stabled in close vicinity to FEI horses (with same rider) wherever possible. Please use one name to identify stabling groups.

Accommodations

Best Western Plus at Hunt Ridge 540 464 1500, Best Western Lexington Inn, 540 458 3020. Camping: The Virginia Horse Center has 78 Camping Spots with 30/50amp electric and water hookups. Reservations can be made online at [email protected] under the facilities link, as well as reservations for Golf Carts. Selection of reserved site is still first come, first served upon arrival. Other Information

Absolutely NO ATVs allowed at VHC. No motorized vehicles on the cross country course. Electric bikes and bikes are allowed on cross country (weather dependent) until the first horse goes on course. Please listen to announcements in the event of weather. Cross-country courses only available as scheduled by VHC - please visit the website for more details. Levels may be divided or combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food available on grounds. Dogs must be leashed. Unleashed dogs will be fined $50 . Will be enforced by security. Check official VHC website for further info and updates: www.vahorsecenter.org ADULT TEAM CHALLENGE Teams of four riders will compete for prizes provided by Area 2 Adult Riders. You must be a member of your Area Adult Rider Program to compete. You can join the program for $25 via the USEA dashboard. If you cannot field a team, we will do our best to create a team for you. Send individual and team names to Donna Bottner:[email protected]no later than closing date. You will ride on your scheduled day for individual placement and teams will be scored separately. Teams will be formed by mixed levels and awards will be presented after the last team member finishes their ride on Sunday. All teams will be stabled together so we have time to get to know everyone! We will have some great prizes for the top 3 placing teams from our wonderful sponsors. There will also be an adult rider welcome party on Friday evening, special adult rider swag, and beverages throughout the weekend. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.

GR1210 General 4. Competition management shall place a minimum of one sharps container per each competition, whether or not stabling is provided. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
