Use of Gallop:$45/horse. You can gallop up the hill 3 times, on the irrigated, manicured gallop used for the 2018 WEG course. This will be stewarded/ medical on call.

Stabling for HT: $225 Permanent 12' X 12' stalls with full, sliding doors and rubber mats on the floors. Shavings $9/bag. PLEASE PRE-ORDER!! Shavings delivery closes each day at 4:00 pm.

Tack Stalls: $225.

Grounds Fee: $50 (each non-stabled horse). PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. c. It is the responsibility of the rider, or the parent or guardian or trainer of the junior exhibitor to see to it that the headgear worn complies with appropriate safety standards for protective headgear intended for equestrian use, and is properly fitted and in good condition, and the Federation, Show Committee, and Licensed Officials are not responsible for checking headgear worn for such compliance. d. The Federation makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, about any protective headgear, and cautions riders that death or serious injury may result despite wearing such headgear as all equestrian sports involve inherent dangerous risk and as no helmet can protect against all foreseeable injuries. e. Violation of this rule at any time, at the discretion of the Ground Jury, shall be penalized and may result in elimination.

ALL CROSS-COUNTRY COURSES WILL BE ON THE WHITE OAK (2018 WEG) COURSE! This includes Beginner Novice through Intermediate!!!!!! I: approx. 3400 @ 550 mpm. P: 2950m @ 520mpm.M: 3000m @490mpm.T:2500m @ 470 mpm. N: 2000m @ 350mpm. BN: 2000m @ 325mpm. All XCcourses more difficult than average.All courses are over rolling hills with beautifully maintained and irrigated grass turf and will run on the White Oak course. Courses will be aggravated as needed.
Cross-country course is always closed for schooling, unless specified schooling days.

Awards

Intercollegiate Championship: Team ribbons through 8th place. Prize bags awarded to the top three teams. Horse Trials: Award to winner and ribbons through 8th place.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Stalls and Tack Stalls: $225 for Thursday through Monday. $50 per night, additional nights.Shavings $9/bag - Please pre-order! Shavings delivery is finished at 4:00 each day! 1,056 permanent stalls with full sliding door and rubber mats. Day Trailers, $50 grounds fee for the event. 115 lockable tack rooms. No initial bedding provided.Shavings for sale on grounds. Pre-order shavings to have in place upon arrival - Shavings $9/bag. INTERCOLLEGIATE STABLING: Please request to be stabled in COLLEGE TOWN. Each team of 4 will be given a free tack stall. If you prefer to be stabled with your trainer, please include trainers name with stabling information. The lack of providing specific stabling requests prior to stabling being assigned, changes will not be made unless it's an easy fix. NOTHING WITH WHEELS ALLOWED ON THE CROSS-COUNTRY COURSES OR ROADS AROUND THE COURSES AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON. Golf cart/scooter/bike parking is provided and clearly marked on the road near start box for easy access to walk to courses on foot. White Oak XC course is always closed for schooling. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Tryon Resort host a variety of food options and amenities on-site with 8 restaurants, retail vendors, and a General Store. Dogs MUST be leashed at all times.
