Turn left and go straight at stop sign. At Baker Rd. turn left (signs will direct you from there). Approx. 5 miles. (NOTE: Do NOT take fork to the right on 11E that says 11W/25W.) Friday: Cross-country course open - 3 pm. Aerator used on cross-country course. Dressage tests MAY be offered to certain levels, if entries warrant... Possible Dressage on Friday NOT mandatory. Communication by email. Saturday: Dressage-8 am; Show Jumping-10:30 am; Competitor Party (Complimentary) following Show Jumping! Sunday: Cross-country-8 am. PLEASE NOTE:Tentative cross country times will be posted on Startboxscoring.com. However, final ride times for cross country will be published only at the end of all tests on Saturday and posted on the scoreboard and online. If number of horses warrant, changes to the schedule may necessitate the addition of Friday Dressage or Saturday Cross/country. Emails will communicate any such changes as soon as possible to competitors. Friday Dressage will be OPTIONAL to rider.

Entries

PLEASE NOTE: The Intermediate Division will only run if at least 4 Intermediate entries are received. Entry fees: A $25 non-refundable office fee is charged per entry.USEA membership and horse registration is required for all levels except Starter. Divisions may be further divided or combined if entries warrant. Number of riders are limited by scheduling capabilities. Double entries: Not accepted. Negative Coggins within past 12 months required. No changes allowed in office on the Friday ofevent unless mandated by USEF regulations. Starter Test: No USEA membership or Drug and Medication Fee required. Late Entries: $50 charged after closing date, May 23. By USEF rule: COMPLETE entries INCLUDING payment must beRECEIVED IN OFFICE by the end of the day on the closing date. Any entry received AFTER May 23 is LATE. Xentry may or may not be open for late entries but you can contact the secretary via email ([email protected]) and she will clarify how to enter late. Late Change Fee: $50 charged for any change made to entry after closing date, May 23. ENTERING OPTIONS: 1) Enter online through www.useventing.com/onlineservices (Xentry). If the electronic signature is completed, (e-sign), Coggins and Stabling Form uploaded, and entry paid for with a credit card, no hard copies are required to be sent to office. Any required membership cards, and Stall Deposit may be brought to office. 2) Enter online, print out full entry and sign. Send in by mail: entry, coggins, stabling form. Include check for fees as well as separate stall deposit checks per horse. Management preference is to enter through the USEA Online Entry Service. Please remember, PAYMENT determines date ofentry! Stabling Form: Requests need to be noted by placing same name (trainer, barn or person to be stabled with) on stabling form. Late entry stabling requests may not be able to be accommodated. STALL DEPOSIT: A separate check for each horse must be included. If multiple horses are paid for with 1 check and 1 stall is left uncleaned, check will be cashed with no refund. Person that writes check is responsible for ride that check covers. If rider doesn't clean stall, owner of check is responsible to request refund from the rider. CASH given for the STALL DEPOSIT (instead of the requested check) assumes that the stall will NOT be cleaned and no refund will be given. Refunds: Before closing date, full refund less $25 non-refundable office fee. After closing date no refund (with exception of USEA Starter and D&M fees) unless stall is filled from waiting list. A Post-Closing Office Fee of $50 will be charged for any horse withdrawn after closing that is replaced by a horse on a wait-list. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. Stabling/Veterinarian

Limited to stall capacity. $180 Thursday through Sunday, add'l nights $35 per stall. Initial 2 bags shavings included in cost. Additional bags $10 each. 210 permanent stalls on grounds, 10x12; permanent iron half/gates provided on stalls. Stall deposit: $40 send separate check per horse. Stalls must be STRIPPED (not picked) or stall cleaning deposit check will be cashed. $50 fine for switching assigned stalls without permission from secretary. Tack stalls $160. No shavings provided. Veterinarian: Will be on grounds through event. Emergency # will be posted at secy's office.

Cross-Country

Intermediate: 2600-3575 m @ 550 mpm, Max height 3'9. IP/Preliminary:2200-3120 m @ 520 mpm, Max height 3'7. M: 2200-3000 @ 490 mpm. Max Height 3'5. Training: 2000-2600 m @ 420-470 mpm, Max height 3'3. TN/Novice: 1600-2200 m @ 350-400 mpm, Max height 2'11. Beginner Novice:1400-2000 m @ 300-350 mpm, Max. height 2'7. Starter: Approx 1200m @300 mpm, Approximate height 2'3". Exact distance and speed on maps at event. Terrain: Varied. All courses: Average. Water at all levels - BN crossing. Bank, Drop, Ditch are possible at all levels. EXCEPTION: No Drop on Beginner Novice. Cross-country course closed May 28, 2023.

Other Information

Competitor packets available from secretary from noon on Friday. Cross country schooling is permitted one-half hour after show has ended on Sunday. Those who were eliminated during show may school for no charge with trainer present. Those who were entered in show and finished may school with trainer present for $25. Anyone not entered in show may school for $75. Signed liability release must be filled out in office. Dogs must be leashed. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advance, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801). b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. "Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith." Due to possible resurgent Covid conditions, this show will follow CDC and State guidelines.
