Write checks to QPEE. Entry Fees: M, T, N, BN & S= $385 if payment is postmarked on or before Closing Date; $425 if payment ispostmarked after Closing Date. Stabling and two bags ofinitial shavings are included with your entry.CT-$275 including stabling with two bags of shavings for the weekend. Max two CT per horse. No cross entry from CT to HT allowed for the horse. If payment is postmarked on or before Closing Date; $305 if payment ispostmarked after Closing Date.No Trailer-in allowed at the NEC - all horses must be stabled. Shavings= $12.00/ bag FYI these bags seem to run small from past experience with the NEC. No outside shavings are allowed.The NEC will charge you a very large fine for outside shavings. Riders, owners, and trainers competing at the Modified level need to register with the USEF and complete SafeSport training. If a rider or owner competing at the Modified level does not wish to register with the USEF, they have the option of paying the $45.00 USEF Show Pass fee at the event: A show pass fee will only be issued once.Trainers are required to register with the USEF; paying of the Show Pass fee does not apply. Horses do not have to be registered with the USEF to compete at the Modified level. All CT riders, regardless of level, need to be a member of USEA or pay the $25 non-memberfee with entry. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee.XC Pinny Insert Holder required for ALL divisions.Double entries are not accepted. All competitors must be USEA members, except Starter.Starter riders are exempt from all USEA fees (Starter/Drugs/Membership/Non-Membership). Riders will be limited to two horses per division. $40 charge for checks returned for non-sufficient funds. Refunds: Before 9:00 p.m. CST on Closing Date, please notify the Secretary by e-mail or mail; (No voicemail will be accepted) for a refund, less the $25 non-refundable office fee. After 9:00 p.m. CST on Closing Date, No Refunds! No withdrawals will be honored unless received by the Secretary in writing (e-mail or mail) before 9:00 p.m. CST on Closing Date. Competition Cancellation = No refunds. ANY CHANGES will be charged $25/each and NO CHANGES, only substitutions within same division, before 6/3/22. Negative Coggins, dated within 12 months, required for all horses. Original Coggins report required at event. The State of MO requires out-of-state horses to have a Current Health Certificate. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org. The Combined Tests include Dressage and Show Jumping and will run on Saturday in conjunction with the Horse Trials. To enter a combined test, please note "Combined Test" on entry form. Participants in Starter HT, Starter and Intro CT's are exempt from the USEA Starter/D&M USEA. Membership is not required, but not-members will be assessed a $25 USEA non-member fee.

For HT: 8 ribbons per division;Prizes 1st - 3rd place! For CT: 6 ribbons per division; Prize for 1st place. The Jockey Club's Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.)awards High Point and Reserve ribbons and cash for top scoreat each level. More information at www.tjctip.com. School Horse award will be awarded to the highest placed (lowest score) lesson horse in the HT. North by Northwest Award for the lowest Dressage Score at the Horse Trials. Stabling/Veterinarian

STABLING:Stalls available from 9:30 a.m. Friday to Monday 9:00 a.m. are included in your entry. If you want to arrive before that, a charge of $50/day will need to be paid in advance. If you need to stay Sunday evening, please make prior arrangements with us. All stalls are approximately 10' by 10' and will include a stall door, electric outlet for one box fan and two bags of initial shavings. $125/Tack Stall. Pre-order extra shavings with your entry for $12/bag. All pre-ordered shavings will be in your stall before arrival. When at the NEC, all shaving must be purchased through the NEC office and will have a higher price. Please note: the NEC office usually closes at 4 p.m. No outside shavings are allowed. The NEC will charge you a very large fine for using other shavings! Due to insurance issues no one can tie to the trailer during the show. If the NEC catches you will be fined a $100.00 fee per occurrence. VETERINARIAN: Dr. Rebecca Schuff, 314-941-9343, number will be posted at Secretary Tent. Dressage

All tests will be ridden in a small arena on all-weather footing. Tests: M = 2022 USEF Modified Test A.T 2022 USEF Training Test A.N = 2022 USEF Novice Test A.BN= 2022 USEF Beginner Novice Test A.Starter = 2022 USEA Starter Test.Dressage test will be the same as the HT test. Division will run highest to lowest jump height. Intro-CT Dressage Test USDF Intro Test B in a small ring on sand.

Cross-Country

Cross country will be held on Sunday at Queeny Park. ALL new XC tracks for 2023! Open galloping terrain with one big hill. All courses:varied terrain; gently rolling hills with excellent galloping tracks. Expect but does not guarantee: water, banks, and ditches at all levels. Starter course has maximum fence height of 2'3". Starter course is a great opportunity to introduce horses and riders to smaller versions of real cross-country fences. Cross Country Course closesat 7:00 p.m. CST on May 14, 2023. Park on grass lots. No parking on the paved parking lot. Please clean up any manure not on grass.

Other Information

XC Paper Number Pinny Holders will be used for the Cross Country in All divisions. Cross-Country Course closes at 7:00 p.m. CST on May 14, 2023. Entry limit 150. Levels may be divided as entries warrant. State your preferences under the Eligibility Section and include birth date on entry. Questions about the event? Non-Competing horses must be assigned a number and arrangements must be made prior to the show with the Secretary. Dogs must be leashed under NEC and St. Louis County Park Ordinances. Park Rangers will be there to enforce rules. The Cross-Countrycourse is about 1/2 mile or 20-minutewalk from Secretary Tent. Competitors and Trainers are welcome to bring their own golf carts to Queeny Park. No 4 wheelers or motorized bikes allowed. QPEE will provide shuttles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the parking lot to the Cross-Country venue. ASTM/SEI helmets, and safety vests required for cross country at all levels. At Queeny Park, any manure or trash on trails, etc. needs to be cleaned up.
