Beginner Novice Combined Test: $150.00 if payment received by closing date; $180 if received after closing date. For non USPC members, riders must be a USEA member or pay a $25 USEA non-member fee with entry.
Starter and Green as Grass Combined Test: $150.00 if payment receivedby closing date; $180 if received after closing date. For Starter or Green as Grass Combined Test USEA membership/horse registration is not required and USEA Starter/D&M Fee do not apply.
Stabling:$160.00.
Grounds fee: $70.00 (non-stabled horses).
NSF for denied check or payment: $50.00.
Refunds: Before closing date = Less $25 admin fee; After closing date but before 5/14/2023 = refund of stabling fees less $25 admin fee; After 5/14/2023 = If stabling is sold out and stall can be reassigned, stabling fees less $25 admin fee will be refunded. Competition cancellation- Refund excluding competition expenses. The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($30), is not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

All competitors must provide pinny holder (available for sale from on-site vendor) - printed number inserts will be provided.
Express Check Inwill be available for competitors who have submitted complete entries including Coggins by Tuesday 5/23/2023.
Neg. Coggins within 12 months required for all horses (include copy with entry).
MCPC HT is offering a Starter level horse trial with jumping max. height of 2'3" and max width of 18" and will include all three phases. Also offered are Combined Tests - Beginner Novice level (max height 2'7"), Starter level (max height 2'3") and Green as Grass (max height of 18"-combination of cross rails and verticals). The Combined Tests include Dressage and Show Jumping. To enter a combined test, please note "Combined Test" on entry form. Participants in Starter HT, Starter and GAG CT's are exempt from the USEA Starter/D&M fee and USEA Membership fee is waived.
PLEASE CHECK FEES CAREFULLY - OVERPAYMENTS OF $25 OR LESS WILL BE CONSIDERED A DONATION TO THE MCPC XC JUMP BUILDING FUND!
Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org.

Stabling/Veterinarian
LIMITED stabling. $160/stall from 11 am, Friday to 5 pm, Sunday. 145 perm wooden stalls with doors/no temps available. Stalls assigned by order of receipt of entry fees. No Shavings Provided! Straw Not Allowed. Limited number of shavings bags available on site for purchase($10/bag). $70 grounds fee, if not stabled.Indoor restrooms with running water and showers on site. Additional port-a-potties near warm up and barn areas.
Midwest Region of USPC is holding their Eventing Rally in conjunction with our horse trials. Early entry is suggested to ensure stall availability.

Terrain questions test balance.T-2500 m @ 450 mpm, solid course for level; forward galloping track with use of terrain to balance and educate.N-2200 m @ 400 mpm; inviting track for horses with some experience at the level.BN- 2000 m @ 350 mpm; inviting track for horses with some experience at the level.Starter Division 1300 m @ 275 mpm with 10-11 inviting obstacles (max height 2'3").
All courses:Varied terrain; gently rolling hills with excellent galloping tracks. Expect water, banks and ditches at all levels. Appropriate courses for spring event.

Dogs must be leashed under Jackson County Park ordinances. Note updates and changes to USEF rules, including all dogs MUST remain on leash and in control as per GR1301. Loose dogscan be retrievedfrom show office for $50 donation to MCPC jump fund. Sharps containers will be located on the competition grounds at all of the barns. Improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments may be fined.
No unauthorized motorized vehicles allowed on course. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
