All scratches must be sent via email to secretary-- make sure to get a receipt of email. Neg coggins req. within 12 months of competition date for all horses (those that expire prior to competition date will not be accepted).USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Intro. Intro riders are waived USEA membership/non-membership/horse registration fees and the USEA Starter/D&M Fee does not apply. Electronic Entries accepted through USEA's Xentry Only. ENTER EARLY AND COMPLETE-----AVOID LATE FEES Complete entry consists of - Entry and signed Federation and Association Entry Agreement. Signed USEF/USEA Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement. Coggins (valid through April 10, 2023). Payment. Emailed copies or photos that are legible are accepted or try finding a scanner app for your smart phone like the iscanner app. Entries are not considered complete until completed paperwork and payment is received. Any changes before Closing Date will incur a $25.00 change fee. Any changes after Closing Date will incur a $50.00 change fee per change. Any entry not complete by closing date will incur a $50.00 fee. Entries; if accepted after Closing Date incur a $75.00 fee, will only be accepted with credit card payment and any paperwork not received from late entries by Monday April 3rd at 5PM will incur $50.00 late fee. NOTES TO COMPETITORS: The after market sale, trade, or swap of entries is expressly forbidden without the prior written approval of the Organizer and all appropriate late and/or change fees being paid. Junior Prelim riders- Whoever is signing as your trainer must be a USEF member in good standing. This is a new USEF rule. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Dressage

Test & arena sizes: P-2022 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. All T-2022 USEF Training Test A-Sm. All N-2022 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. All BN-2022 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Intro-2022 USEA Starter Test-Sm.Arenas: Grass.

Cross-Country

All P-3120 m @ 520 mpm. All T-2600 m @ 470 mpm. All N-2200 m @ 400mpm. All BN-2000 m @ 350mpm. Test Intro-1200m @ 275 mpm. Jumps will be 18"-2'3". All courses: Some maximum height fences, water, ditches, and banks possible.Forward, galloping track for all levels. Cross-country course Closed. COURSES: Most of the terrain is Moderate to flat, courses are open and galloping, a good percentage of the fences per level are big and solid. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. XC schooling day will be held most likely weekend after event; weather permitting - see Secretary for details.

SECRETARY WILL HAVE SMALL NUMBER OF PLASTIC PINNY HOLDERS FOR SALEPAPER NUMBERS WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR CROSS COUNTRY. Cross-country course Closed always except for CDCTA schooling days and competition. Cross country schooling day scheduled for weekend following horse trials weather permitting. Information on schooling day will be posted on www.CDCTA.com and CDCTA Facebook page the week following event. Do not arrive early as gates will be locked. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.”
