"The horses already acclimated to the jump chute present better from the first round," says sport horse and FEH judge Susan Graham White. There are only 5 rounds through the jump chute for each horse in the championship, and time is limited to approximately 10 minutes. Horses that have already been in a jump chute generally, and this jump chute in particular, have an advantage over horses new to the process and/or location. We encourage all FEH-4 and FEH-3 championship competitors to participate in the jump chute clinic on the Friday before FEH Championships.

DOGS:There will be a $100 fine for any dog not on a leash at any time during the weekend and the owner may be asked to leave the grounds. Dogs that bark continuously, lunge at people or horses or are otherwise disruptive should be left at home! Organizer/management reserves the right to evict any dog and its owner from the property. GR1301.6 will be STRICTLY ENFORCED: Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs’ behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warning cards.
