Old Tavern Horse Trial strongly prefers electronic entries and electronic payment.No checks. We can accept either XENTRY or Evententries for electronic transmission of your entry to and we strongly encourage all entries to use either system for entries and payment. For those not wanting to pay by credit card through Evententries or Xentry we are accepting payment via Venmo (@GreatMeadow-International-2)or Zelle ([email protected]), but you should contact the secretary if you want to use Zelle or Venmo. Entry forms must be submitted electronically (direct or via email [email protected]), not by mail. For ALL entries, the entry date will be the date when payment is processed electronically. If payment is not received by the closing date the entry is considered incomplete and will be subject to post entry late fees. Although you can fill out an entry using the USEA PDF entry form, they will not be directly transmitted electronically and you must email the entry to the secretary and pay using Venmo or Zelle.

after the closing date and before Sept 22. Entries after Sept 21 will be assessed a late fee of
$100.Electronic entries must be paid by
the closing date to avoid late fees.
Change Fee:Change fee applies to division, horse and/ or rider. $25 for each change before CD; $30.00 fee for each change of entry after C.D. but
before Sept 22; Additional $50 fee for each change after Sept 21.Changes
should be sent to the secretary by email. Changes NOT accepted by phone.
Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 office fee; After C.D.- less $100

Entries
All entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Include printed, legible and current email address on entry. All correspondence from the secretary will be by email.All entrants competing must be USEA members. All horses competing must have USEA registration number. Intermediate & Preliminary competitors, include USEF membership numbers for rider, trainer and owner (including farm, syndicate, etc.). Riders, trainers, and/or owners of horses competing at the Intermediate & Preliminary levels who arenotUSEF members will be required to pay $45 Show Pass fee with entry.(Note: a coach may or may not be a trainer; trainers are the ones who care and feed the horses)AND USEF MEMBERS - PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE UP TO DATE ON YOUR SAFE SPORT TRAINING.

Negative Coggins certificate valid through Sept 26, 2022 required for all horses.Horses without current Coggins on file or in hand will not be allowed on grounds.
Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org.

turf, excellent footing. Course runs on same land as the MARS Great Meadow International On all courses, some obstacles tend toward maximum heights
for the level. Forward galloping courses. Well suited for horses with
experience at the level. I & P - includes water complex & coffin. T - includes water complex & ditch. N/BN - includes water
complexand ditch. Cross-country course closed for schooling before HT. There will be a schooling day Monday or Tuesday after the HT.
**NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON COURSE and NO Bicycles or any other type of vehicle on racetrack

Show jumping warmup and show jumping competition arena will be on all weather footing.

EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
SHARPS CONTAINER: Competition management is responsible for placing Sharps containers in convenient locations on Competition grounds and replacing them when full. Competition Management may fine any individual up to $100 for improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments. Competition management will place notice of this requirement either in its prize list or on a specific handout given to trainers on check in at the competition. See GR1210.4 for complete details and please make sure the requirements for Sharps Containers are met at this competition.
