Seneca Valley Pony Club prefers electronic entries and payment via credit card. We can accept either Xentry or EventEntries for electronic transmission of your entry and we strongly encourage the use of either system for entry and payments. For all entries, the entry date will be the date when payment is processed electronically. If payment is not received by the closing date, the entry is considered incomplete and will be subject to late fees.
LATE FEES: After closing date and thru August 21 = $50; after August 21 and through August 26 (if space permits) = $75; after August 26 (if space permits) = $100. All fees must be received by Secretary before ride times will be assigned!
Stabling: No sponsored stabling; check website for list of local barns who are willing to provide stabling.

Per USEF Rule GR909, we will NOT ACCEPT an entry unless/until the following has been submitted:Entry form, both USEF waivers signed by ALL applicable parties, and entry. Entries missing these items will be marked as Not Accepted and will not be scheduled or issued a pinny number.
SELLING of ENTRIES:We DO NOT honor entries sold or otherwise transferred in private transactions. All entries must be paid directly to Seneca Valley Pony Club.
Xentry entries must e-mail/mail signature page, coggins and payment (if necessary) to Secretary within five (5) days of on-line entry or before closing date, whichever occurs first. Double entries not accepted. Copy of current negative coggins must accompany entry: negative Coggins requiredfor all horses. Please print a legible email address for notification purposes. BN competitors must be USEA members and horses registered with a Limited Status (T,N,BN) or Full status. Return check fee $30.
If participating in the Jockey Club TIP program, please email a copy of your TIP card/TIP registration number to the Secretary.
Changes:After close date-$25 per change; after 8/21-$75 per change.

Refunds: All entry fees include $25non-refundable office fee. Before close date - full refund minus $25 office fee.After close date - less $50 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Wait list expires 8/30/2022. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees are not subject to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. Competition cancellation-refunds will be provided - amount will be determined after payment of expenses.

Reminders:
USEF Membership:Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Modified Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR218) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport: Horse Breeding classes(note: a coach may or may not be a trainer; trainers are those who feed or care for the horse).
Safe Sport: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. All courses on rolling, established turf and include water, I-Nwill include banks, ditches and moguls. Grass warm-up. Intermediate, Preliminary and Modified Cross Country Courses are of moderate difficulty and are for horses with some experience at that level. Terrain is slightly rolling with the majority of the courses in open fields. Recent improvements include reconfiguration of the water complex and addition of several new frangible obstacles. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
