Intro does not require USEA/USEF Membership; USEA Starter/D&M Fees do not apply. If oversubscribed, priority given to USEA members. Entry errors thatare $25 or less will be considered contributions to the cross country building fund. $25 fee for any changes after the closing date. Refunds:Before Closing: Less $25 non-refundable office fee. After closing date: entry less $50 ONLY if place filled from waiting list. Competition Cancellation– No refund. Modified competitors must include copy of USEF membership for rider; owner and trainer with entry. Copy of current negative Coggins (within 12 months) must accompany entry, or entry considered incomplete. If late entries are accepted,mustenter via Xentry and pay with a credit card. Incomplete entries will be placed on bottom of draw pile. M-26000 m @ 490 mpm - course is in an open field with rolling hills. Expect to see a lot of galloping fences with more open combinations. Course runs through natural creeks in addition to man-made water jump. T-2470 m @ 450 mpm - course is in an open field with rolling hills. Training level course shares jumps with Preliminary level course - Good galloping course. Course runs through natural creeks in addition to manmade water jump. N-2180 m @ 375 mpm - course is in an open field with rolling hills and natural creek crossings, in addition to manmade water jump.BN-2000 m @ 325 mpm/max. height 2´7’ - Course is in an open field - natural hilly terrain with creek crossings. Good, open course without too many technical questions for Beginner Novice Level. Intro - 1670m @ 300 mpm/max height 2'2 - Course is in an open field. Water jump is manmade - horses will see other horses on course in open setting. Terrain is open rolling hills - riders may be asked to cross natural creek. Cross-country course closed June 7, 2022. Cross-country course schooling Monday, May 30, 2 - 5 pm. Call Marion Thorne (585) 451-8143. Since Cross Country is in an open field, the spectator opportunities are huge! Bring your friends to watch you ride!

Awards

6 ribbons per division. TIP awards - Ribbon and $$ to winner per level - Intro through Modified 6th Annual Donald T. Holland Memorial Team Challenge. Teams of 4 riders, only 2 riders on a team may be entered at the same level. Please contact secretary for more information.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Limited on site Friday to Sunday only. $150 Friday noon to Sunday night. $75 Saturday night only (if available). 50 perm stalls (approx 10 X10) with doors on grounds – CROSS-COUNTRY COURSE APPROX. 1/2 MILE FROM STABLING. Mandatory muck deposit $40, separate check to GVH to accompany entry. Stall doors & initial bedding only provided. Feed/hay/bedding available for purchase, further info from sec´y. All COVID protocols will be adhered to. Anyone coming on to horse trials grounds accepts responsibility for adhering to COVID protocols. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
