Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D-No refund. USEA Starter/D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start thedressage test or present to the first horse inspection. Competition cancellation-No refund. Included in the entry fee is a $10 fee which will go directly to frangible technology at VHT.

Entries

All Entries are to be online at either Event Entries or Xentry or postal and paid in full prior to the event All entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. All entries will receive confirmation via e-mail. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter. Starter is exempt from USEA membership/horse registration and the USEA Starter/D&M fees do not apply. Double entries: NOT Accepted. FEI Classes:Athletes whose Horse’s Passport and/or Recognition Card is not correctly validated, or failing to meet other requirements for vaccination and Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled Medication control (Veterinary Regulations Article 1030) will be subject to Sanctions in accordance with Annex II of the Veterinary Regulations. Horses competing at FEI Events must comply with the requirements for Equine Influenza vaccination in accordance with the Veterinary Regulations and as summarized below. Foreign Horses must have an Official FEI Passport.FEI passport is not required for U.S Horses, but a USEF National Passport is required for all U.S. CCI1 Horses. VET. REGS. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All Cross Country courses will reflect the timing and effect of the cancelations to our calendar CCI2L/CCI2S: Cross-Country - 4000 / 3000 meters @520 mpm.Good introduction to the * level.Expect two water complexes, corners, banks, drops, gates, coops, brushes, and rolling terrain.CCI3S/AI/I:Cross-Country - 3570 meters @ 550mpm. Expect two water complexes, corners, banks, drops, gates, coops, brushes, and rolling terrain.CCI1L Will be held on the Horse Center side - approx 2500m @500mpmP-2600 m @ 520 mpm; expect water, banks, ditches, corners and skinnies. All M-2400 mpm @ 490 mpm. All T-2300 m @ 450 mpm, expect water, banks, ditches, angled combinations. All N-2000m @ 400 m, expect water, banks , ditch/log, combination. All BN- 1800m @ 350mpm, expect water, intro ditch, step up. Starter: 10 - 12 fences very inviting course
All courses: rolling terrain. All tracks will be aerated. All distances are approx and will be confirmed at the event. Cross-country courses only available for schooling at VHT Starter HT.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Stabling will be spread out please indicate if you are from a barn with more than one competitor All Horses Checking in at Stabling office MUST show a current cogs and Health Certicate on horsetraveling over state line,before be allowed to unload. Horses requiring additional stabling nights must e-mail ahead for arrangements. ALL tack stalls $55.00 per night. HT $55.00 per night /day Layover additional fees require call ahead to arrange. 800 permanent stalls on grounds. Stall doors provided, no initial bedding provided. Feed/hay/bedding available for purchase. All entries must have a stabling form. All stabling requests must be in writing by closing date. Additional requests after CD subject to $50 processing fee. Absolutely No changes in stabling, after Oct. 29. Any horses found in unassigned stalls will be fined $100.00 must move and pay fine before Dressage! Bedding-Straw & shavings only! Best Western Plus at Hunt Ridge 540 464 1500, Best Western Lexington Inn, 540 458 3020. Camping: The Virginia Horse Center has 78 Camping Spots with 30/50amp electric and water hookups. Reservations can be made online at [email protected] under the facilities link, as well as reservations for Golf Carts. Selection of reserved site is still first come, first served upon arrival. If entries allow and Weather permitting Show Jumping will be outdoors in Wley Arena with two warm up areas. Absolutely NO ATVs allowed at VHC. No motorized vehicles on the cross country course. PH open to horses never to have completed above the Intermediate level. TH open to horses never to have completed above Preliminary level. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
