From North-exit I-20 at exit 22 & take Rte 1 South about 5mi go left on Hwy 118 (Rutland Dr) cross Hwy 302 and go left on Hwy 78. Entries

Sporting Days Farm HT uses www.EVENTENTRIES.com for entries, scoring & live Scoring. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Include legible and current email address on entry. All correspondence from secretary will be via email. Double entries: Not accepted. All riders and horses must be members of the USEA in order to compete, Starter riders are exempt from USEA membership and the USEA Starter/D&M fees do not apply.If oversubscribed with entries postmarked on Opening Day, multiple rides may be limited - please indicate order of preference. If entering electronically; payment, signature page and Coggins must be postmarked within 5 days of entering. If not, the entry will be assigned a postmark date at the time it is complete and payment is received.Riders and Owners at Preliminary must send current copies of all USEF membership cards, or a $45 USEF Show Passfee will be charged. ANY entrypostmarkedafter Closing Date will be considered a late entry and the $50 Late fee applies. Additionally, any electronic or faxed entry made prior to Closing Date must be COMPLETE within 5 days after Closing or will be also considered a late entry and charged the $50 Late fee. Late fee policywill be strictly adhered to! Scratches/Changes must be in writing via mail, fax, email only.

All changes made up to Closing Date no change fee. CHANGES made after CD will be charged a $25 fee.Change of horse or rider requires anew entry to be e-mailed. If space allows and post entries are accepted they will be charged an additional $50 late fee. Neg. Coggins required for all horses within 12 months and must accompany entry. Check website & contact immediately if in wrong division, etc. Do not wait until times are posted, check status after you enter. Wait List Policy: Entries are added to the competition in the order they are received. After the entry limit is reached, additional entries are placed on the Wait List in the order they are received. Only entries received by Closing Date and paid in full are placed on the Wait List. All entries received after the closing dates are ineligible foe the Wait List. Once scheduling of the competition is complete substitutions will be made from the wait list BY DIVISION only. The Wait List expires on Sunday April 11 at 9 pm. All checks are destroyed or refunded after the termination of the wait list. After the CD and before the termination of the wait list, in order to receive a refund your spot must be filled from the wait list. Scratches after the close of the wait list date are not eligible for a refund. With the expiration of the wait list, no scratched spotsare filled.

T/N/BN Average, for horses with some experience at this level. Banks, ditches & water at all levels. Starter fences maximum 2' 3", water will be optional, faux ditch and step-up bank only. Cross-country course closed April 15th through the event, and otherwise, open during scheduled schooling times and by appointment only with a minimum of 5horses.

Awards

Trophy & 8 ribbons. $10 fee for mailing prizes. Winning riders must arrange a time to report to awards presentation area for Press photos in order to receive prizes. Additional awards for low score TIP at each level. Equitation award for best equitation in show jumping in Junior Training and Novice levels, determined by the show jumping judge.

Stabling/Veterinarian

$150 on grounds (limited permanent stalls- book early); Thursday 12 pm to Monday 8 am; $25/day after that. Stall doors & one bag of bedding will be provided. Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for penalties against those responsible for the child committing the offense. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. The unsafe use of personal electronic transport devices, as determined by the competition officials and management in their sole discretion, that do not require a driver’s license to operate, including but not limited to segways, hover boards, and single wheeled scooters is prohibited on competition grounds. Operating such devices in areas where people gather may be deemed “unsafe use” if there is a risk of harm to others. If the operator of the device is a minor, the parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating the device in violation of this rule is accountable and may be subject to penalties. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
