CCI Horses must be registered with the USEF and FEI. All CCI4*S, CCI3*S and CCI2*S foreign horsesmust have a FEI Passport,with current influenza primary and booster shots recorded, and current health certificate. CCI3S* and CCI2*S U.S. horses must have either a FEI or National Passport with current influenza primary booster shots recorded, and current health certificate. Please include Breed and bloodline information on entry for all CCI horses. Information will be used by the announcer during competition. Current Health Certificate and proof of vaccinations as per USEF RuleGR844 Equine Vaccination Rule 1. At Federation licensed competitions horses, more than 7 months of age, entering the grounds must be accompanied by documentation of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumonitis) vaccinations within six months prior to entering the stables. Horses not in compliance with this rule may be required to leave the competition grounds upon request by Competition Management. Documentation should consist of one of the following methods mentioned below. The frequency of vaccine administration should be per the vaccine manufacturers’ or veterinarians’ recommendations. It is recommended that vaccines are administered by or under the direction of a veterinarian Neg. 12 month Coggins must be current through last day of competition and must accompany entry.

Advanced Division:
Both Test A and B will be offered. Please specify on entry which test.

Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. CCI4*: 3600m @ 570mpm. CCI3*: approx. 3400m @ 550mpm. CCI2*: approx. 3200m @ 520mpm. CCI1*: approx. 3000m @ 500mpm. A: approx. 3650m @ 570mpm. I: approx. 3400 @ 550mpm. P: 2500m @ 520mpm. M- 2200 - 3000m @ 490mpm.T: 2400m @ 470mpm. N: 2,200 @ 375mpm. BN: 2,000 @325mpm.

CCI4*S and Advanced course fairly difficult with CCI preparation in mind and will run on golf course with 10 year old established turf and 10% on all weather footing for bridge crossings, etc. . CCI3*S/CCI2*S and all national levels: more difficult than average, on similar tracks to AECs, good for horses and/or riders with some experience at the level. All courses are over rolling hills with beautifully maintained grass turf. Courses will be irrigated and aggravated as needed.Cross-country course closed.

ALL CROSS-COUNTRY WILL BE RUN ON THE WHITE OAK COURSE.

Stabling/Veterinarian

You MUST download the FEI Horse App on your smartphone and comply with all NEW FEI requirements for horses when they arrive, before going into stabling, if you are shipping in, and before you leave the event. Horses shipping in before or after the designated times sent out by the FEI Vet, will have to go Isolation Stabling. Other Information

The cross-country course is always closed. Cross-country courses open to walk 3 pm Thursday. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Tryon Resort host a variety of food options and amenities on-site with multiple restaurants, retail vendors, and a General Store. Thursday, April 7th @ 5 pm, CCI Rider & Groom Briefing. Dogs MUST be leashed at all times. Owners of loose dogs get an automatic yellow card as per the rule book. Golf carts are available for rent through the Tryon Resort Lodging office. [email protected] and (828) 863-1015. Golf carts, private ATVs, scooters, and bicycles are allowed in authorized areas, on specified paths, and parking over and at White Oak only. Nothing with wheels isallowed on cross-country. Competitors will be given two free parking passes for access to the assigned barn area. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF and FEI rulebooks will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.”
