Travel West on Route 42 to Weirsdale , turn left onto CR 25. Travel to Griffin Avenue & turn left. Continue for approx. 2 miles, competitor entrance on left. COMPETITORS MUST USE 3121 GRIFFIN AVENUE ENTRANCE LOCAL DIRECTIONS: From the North (Ocala, Summerfield, Belleview): Head South on Hwy 441/27. Go past The Villages Regional Hospital. Go past the overhead bridge that says “The Villages”. Turn left onto Griffin Avenue (Shell gas station on corner). Stay on Griffin Ave. until you reach the stoplight. Continue on through light about 2 miles to competitor's entrance on left. COMPETITORS MUST USE 3121 GRIFFIN AVENUE ENTRANCE From the South (Leesburg, Mount Dora, Tavares): Head North on Hwy 441/27. Entries

XC Pinny/Holder/Insert required. Changes and scratches accepted by email or fax, not by answering machine. Entry status will be emailed to competitors. Please include legible email address on entry form. Negative 12 month coggins must be current through last day of competition and must accompany entry. OUT OF STATE HORSES -- The state of Florida requires a 30 health certificate for entry into Florida as well as exiting. Reminder:All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. All cross-country courses open to walk 3pm on Friday. P - 2200-3120 m @ 520 mpm. M -2200-3000m @ 490 mpm. T - 2000-2600 @ 420 mpm. N - 1600-2200m @ 350 mpm. BN - 1400-2000m @300 mpm. All courses are over gently rolling hills with beautiful, old-established, well maintained & irrigated grass turf. Courses are of average difficulty at each level. Cross-country courses never opened.

Awards

Awards and ribbons through 8th place.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Stalls: $150 for Friday through Sunday. $50 per additional night. Limited permanent stalls available; stalls provided are both permanent and temporary, 10X10 with doors. No initial bedding provided. A minimum of two bags of shavings must be ordered per stall, $8/bag, please pre-order. Vet practice at competition and on call is Dr. Crystal Riczu 352-681-0188. Farrier at competition and on call is Mike Blankenship 352-267-9140.

Other Information

IEV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. Show Jumping will be on grass. Cross-country courses never opened. Food available on grounds. Golf cart rentals, Cottage rentals, RV Site rentals and restaurant on premises. Please contact Joyce, 352-750-5500 ext. 236. Golf carts, private ATV's, scooters and bikes are allowed in authorized areas only but NO motorized vehicles are allowed on cross-country courses at all. Official vehicles only allowed on cross-country courses. Dogs must be leashed at all times. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.”
