From Knoxville and West (I-40): Exit 394: Turn LEFT at light at exit onto 11E. (NOTE: Do NOT take fork to the right on 11E that says 11W/25W) Travel east approx. 17 miles to RG sign on left of hwy (Lowery Loop Rd). On right is New Market Church. Turn left and go straight through stop sign. At Baker Rd. turn left (signs will direct you from there). Approx. 5 miles. From Dandridge and East (I-40): Exit 417: Turn RIGHT at light at exit, onto Hwy 92. Travel North approx 10 mi. to 11E. Turn left (West) approx 6 mi. to RG sign on right at Lowery Loop Rd. Follow directions as above.

Tentative Schedule

Thursday: Cross-country course open-3 pm. Office open at noon. Friday: Dressage 1 p.m. Divisions running on Friday will be notified. Sat: Dressage -8 am; Show Jumping -10:30 am. Starter is 1-day, Saturday (when offered). Competitors Party complimentary, following jumping. There may be no competitor party at this show due to Covid status at time of show. Competitors will be notified. Sun: Cross-country -8 am. PLEASE NOTE: Ride times for cross/country will be published only at the end of all activity on Saturday and posted on the scoreboard and online. Ifnumber of horseswarrant, changes to the schedule may necessitate the addition of Friday Dressage or Saturday Cross-country. Emails will communicate any such changes as soon as possible to competitors. When offered, the Starter Test is a one-day test. This will facilitate those who wish to trailer-in for the day. A weekend stall may be secured if they are available. Disciplines that demand both days will take priority.

Trailer-In Fee: $50.00 (non-stabled horses). Camping: Hookup: (Water & Electric), $90.00 weekend ($10 dump station fee included); Generator or Tent (No electric & Water), $40.00 weekend. Returned Check Fee: $30.00. Late Entry Fees: $50.00 Entries are "received" when paid. An entry form, email or phone call with no payment is not an entry. Late Change Fee: $50.00. Post-Closing Office Fee: $50 (For a horse scratched after closing that is replaced by a wait-listed horse.) Competitor Party - Complimentary. Entries

Entry Fees:A $25 non-refundable office fee is charged per entry. USEA members and horse registration required for all levels, EXCEPT Starter Division. Starter Division (if offered): USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived and the USEA Starter/D&M/COVID-19 Recovery fees do not apply. If oversubscribed, priority to USEA members. Divisions may be further divided or combined if entries warrant. Preliminary and Intermediate MUST include copies of Rider, Owner and Trainer USEF membership cards. Double entries: Not accepted. No changes allowed in office on the Friday of event unless mandated by USEF regulations. Late Entries: By USEF rule: COMPLETE entries INCLUDING payment must be in office by midnight of Closing Date, October 26th. Any entry received AFTER October 26th is LATE. Any extension of Xentry staying open beyond closing date, is for competitor convenience, late fees still apply. Late Change Fee: a $50 fee will be charged for any change made to entry after closing date, October 26th. STABLING FORM: Requests need to be noted by placing same name (trainer, barn, or person to be stabling with) on stabling form. Any early arrival or late departure needs to be listed on stabling form. Any stabling request after closing date may not be able to be accommodated. A separate check for stall Deposit - PER HORSE - must be included. Entry may be snail-mailed (including original signature, entry fees, Coggins, Stabling Form, Stall Deposit check), or you may enter online through Xentry at www.useventing.com. Credit card payment accepted online. Negative Coggins within past 12 months required. Any amounts owed at check-in MUST be paid with CASH. CASH given for a Stall Deposit (instead of the required check) will assume the stall will NOT be cleaned and will not be refunded. A Post-Closing Office Fee of $50 will be charged for any horse withdrawn after closing that is replaced by a horse on a wait-list. SAFE SPORT REMINDER: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Awards

Horse Trials: Trophy & 8 ribbons per division for Horse Trials. Collegiate Team Awards: 1st through 6th place, ribbons. 1st top three places receive prizes.

Stabling/Veterinarian

210 permanent stall on grounds, 10 x 12. Permanent iron half-gates provided on stalls. Entries limited to stall capacity. $160 Thursday through Saturday nights, addt'l nights $25 per stall. Initial 2 bags shavings included. Additional bags $7 each. Stall deposit: $25. SEND SEPARATE CHECK PER HORSE. Stalls must be STRIPPED COMPLETELY (not picked) or stall deposit check will be cashed. A $50 fine for switching assigned stalls without permission from secretary. Tack stalls $160. Veterinarian: UT VETERINARY MEDICAL CENTER (865-544-9000) supplies our on grounds vet daily throughout show. Cell phone of vet posted at office and on stall card.

HOST HOTEL - Special $79 rates! BEST WESTERN 865/544-7737 (EXIT 398 off of I-40). Have to reserve by calling local number and saying you are at River Glen . All other local hotels listed at www.river-glen.com. All hotels are approx. 15 miles.Please see fee section for hook-up/camping fees on grounds. PLEASE SPECIFY ON STABLING/RV FORM EARLY ARRIVAL/LATE DEPARTURE DATE/TIME. Showers available on grounds 24/7.

Cross-Country

Intermediate: 2600-3575 m @ 550 mpm, max height 3'9. IP/Preliminary:2200-3120 m @ 520 mpm, max height 3'7. PT/Training:2000-2600 m @ 420-470 mpm, max height 3'3. TN/Novice:1600-2200 m @ 350-400 mpm, max height 2'11.Beginner Novice:1400-2000 m @ 300-350 mpm, max. height 2'7". Starter: 1400-1800 m @ 300 mpm, max. height approx 2'3. Exact distance and speed on maps at event. Terrain: Varied. All courses: Average. Water at all levels - BN crossing over water. Bank, Drop, Ditch are possible at all levels. Exception: No drop on Beginner Novice. Cross-country course closed October 31, 2021.

Other Information

COLLEGIATE TEAM CHALLENGE Enter your College Team (may be across divisions) for the College Team Grand Prize. Teams consist of 4 riders from same College. There is no additional fee to compete as a team. Prizes will be awarded to all 4 riders on the teams first through 3rd place. Mixed teams allowed and may include alumni of school. However, trophy prizes are reserved for Teams with current college students. Ribbons for teams 1st-6th. Additional Information: Cross-country course closed October 31, 2021. Competitor packets available from secretary from noon on Thursday. Cross Country Schooling permitted after show is over on Sunday free of charge for anyone eliminated during show, with trainer present. Others may school for a $25 charge. Signed waiver necessary from office. Competitor party is complimentary when being held. Dogs MUST be leashed. Volunteering at the Show... any volunteer is eligible for a free schooling voucher when they volunteer for 4 hours or more. We are so appreciative of volunteers coming forward at the show!!! At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.”
