Turn LEFT onto PARK MILLS RD. Event is 1.1 miles on left. From I-70 in MD: exit # 54 onto MD-85 South/BUCKEYSTOWN PIKE. Turn left onto Lily Pons Rd. Turn right onto Park Mills Road. Event is 1.9 miles on right. Construction: Competitors coming from south MD-28 below the Monocacy River, be aware of ongoing construction and potential closures on the Monocacy River Bridge. The bridge is usually closed on weekends.

Notes: Time intervals between phases may change, but all CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISIONS will show jump last. Regular divisions will jump cross country last. Stabling (HT): $75/night. Grounds fee: No grounds fee for competing horses. For non-compete horses, $50. Tack Stall: $75/night Muck Fee: $50 (charged after event) Stalls must be stripped + swept to avoid muck fee!

Trailer Parking fee: $25 per night if parking at the main barn. No fee for satellite parking. Space is limited; first come first served.

Camping: w/electric Hook up: $50/night. $25/night no hook-up.

Nonrefundable Office fee: $25 (Included in entry fee; billed to all unpaid no-show/scratched entries, no exceptions.)

Change Fee: $25. Changes must be via email! NO TEXTS. Refunds: Before Closing Date-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After Closing Date- No refund on entry or stabling. Competition cancellation-No refund. Refunds may take several weeks to arrive.

USEA Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery fee ($5), are not subject to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

USEA MEMBERSHIP: USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full, Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels. PAYMENT: Credit card payment, only. REMINDER: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition - regardless of the level ridden. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Stabling/Veterinarian

Stabling: 54 permanent stalls with sliding doors. 60 portable stalls with swinging doors. 10 permanent stalls across from the competition grounds (no fee discount). $75 per night includes one initial bag of bedding. Trailer Parking: $25/night per trailer to park at the main barn. Space is extremely limited. Unpaid stabling trailers to be parked in a satellite site on the property. Cross-Country

Cross-Country:AI/I-3400 m @ 550 mpm. P-3000 m @ 520 mpm. M-2800 m @ 500 mpm. T-2500 m @ 450 mpm. N-2100 m 375 mpm. B-1800 m @ 350 mpm.
Courses are on well established, rolling pasture that will be aggravated.NEW changes to permanent obstacles at upper level course. I has track over rolling terrain, with bold gallop fences, terrain and accuracy questions. P/M has terrain and accuracy questions, bold gallop fences. T has terrain questions that focus on the development of better balance and accuracy. N/BN Good educational and inviting tracks.

Area 2 Championship courses will differ from common horse trials tracks; longer distances and more challenging routes through the combinations at all levels.

PAPER NUMBER PINNIES will be used for cross country. Riders must bring pinny holders with them.

NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON CROSS COUNTRY. Do not walk dogs on cross country while horses are on course.

There will be a $100 fine for any dog not on a leash at any time during the weekend and the owner may be asked to leave the grounds. - Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs’ behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warning cards. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. Water for horses available on grounds, but it is advised to bring your own.
