ALL PHASES FOR ALL LEVELS will run on ONE DAY ONLY
Fri: Cross-country course open-3 pm.
Sat:T/BN: Dressage-7:30 am, Show Jumping- 11:30 AM, Cross Country- immediately after show jumping.
Sun:P/N: Dressage-7:30 am, Show Jumping- 11:30 AM, Cross Country- immediately after show jumping.
Every effort will be made to keep the time between dressage and the jumping phases as short as possible, but please note that we cannot start any jumping until all of dressage is concluded due to logistical restrictions, and this sometimes requires one or two divisions to have a longer break between these two phases. Competitors will jump their show jumping first and may wear cross-country attire. There will be about 20-25 minutes in between riders' show jumping rounds and cross-country start times.

USEA Starter/D&M Fees and COVID-19 Recovery Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery fee ($5), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Entries
Entry fees per division include a $25 non-refundable office fee. USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee.USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels.
Negative Coggins WITHIN 12 MONTHS OF COMPETITION DATE is required for all horses.Coggins MUST be received BEFORE competition - May be faxed, but must be legible. Entries with invalid Coggins upon closing date will be assessed an incomplete fee. Coggins bled prior to 9/25/20are invalid.
UNH will accept online entries submitted through Xentry (may pay here by credit card).THIS IS THE PREFERRED METHOD OF ENTRY.Evententries.com acceptable IF paid with credit card and paperwork isimmediatelyemailed to the secretary. Completed entries include payment, electronically signed release form, USEF waiver and negative Coggins. To avoid incomplete or late fees, entries must be completed by the closing date. The show office will be open onsite however outside guests will not be permitted in UNH buildings. To help comply with UNH policies and make for a smoother day, please help us and complete entries and communication ahead of time!
UNH is still operating under COVID-related restrictions. All guests (coaches, parents, riders, grooms, etc.) must comply with current UNH Visitor policies, which at this time includes carrying proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of arrival. Guests will not be permitted in campus buildings, including the UNH Equine Center. All guests must fully comply with any and all local, state or CDC guidelines and restrictions related to travel and COVID-19 that are in place at the time of the competition. Please limit the number of attendees to only those essential for the competition-- spectators are not encouraged to attend our competition this fall.
Preference will be given to complete entries mailed on opening date. Incomplete entries will be accepted as space allows, butall issues (including invalid Coggins) must be resolved by closing date.Entries not complete at close risk being replaced by a complete entry that is on wait list. Any entry that is not complete at close for any reason (including missing emergency contact info) will be assessed a $20 incomplete fee. Any changes to entry made after close, if able to be accommodated, will incur a $25 fee. Post-closing date entries may be accepted at organizer discretion but will incur an additional fee of $75. Please do not expect to be able to enter this competition post-closing date as we make decisions regarding show staffing based on closing date entry numbers.Management reserves the right to restrict the number of entries per rider per level. Please contact secretary directly if you are planning to enter more than two horses at the same level.

Cross-Country
P-2800 m @ 520 mpm. T-2100 m @ 420 mpm.N-2000 m @ 350 mpm. BN-1800 m @ 325 mpm. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at these levels. Course design will suit horses who have been competing at their given level during the course of the season and are not intended as move up courses. All courses travel through wooded trails and some fields over mostly level terrain. Ditches, water, drops/banks can be expected at all levels.Cross-country course will not be open for schooling prior to the competition.

All programs and cross country maps will be available digitally at www.onthebitevents.com. We will be following all local, regional and national COVID guidelines, as well as those required by USEF and UNH campus administration, to ensure a safe and fun competition. COVID information and specific guidelines will be available online. Only essential personnel allowed on show grounds. Every person on site-- riders, grooms, coaches, staff, volunteers-- are required to submit USEF waiver. Link to digital waiver available online.

Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Please take care when selecting your preferred divisions.
Food may not be available on grounds--we are still working on securing COVID-related permissions on this service. Bottled water will be available.
Dogs welcome but MUST be leashed.
PARKING IS EXTREMEMLY LIMITED AT UNH. Competitors are encouraged to trailer-pool if they are shipping in. Follow all posted signs and parking staff directions regarding parking. Bring a bike. The popular paved lot is designated student parking, and despite repeated requests UNH Parking will NOT ALLOW US TO CLOSE THE LOT or remove the student cars from it for the Trials. We have no control over this. Please respect the multiple uses at our facility and approach our parking with a sense of humor!
EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
