Address: Washington State Horse Park - 1202 Douglas Munro Blvd CleElum, WA (www.washingtonstatehorsepark.org) From I-90 Eastbound - Take Exit 84; follow ramp to the first left (between Chevron and Windermere) turn onto Douglas Munro Blvd., stay on this road as it bends left. Proceed 0.7 miles (go past cemetery) to entrance for the Horse Park. From I-90 Westbound - Take Exit 84; at end of exit ramp turn right onto Oakes Ave., proceed 0.5 miles to light; make left onto W. First St. and continue 0.7 miles; Turn Right (between Chevron and Windermere) onto Douglas Munro Blvd., stay on this road as it bends left and proceed 0.7 miles (go past cemetery) to entrance for the Horse Park.
To Lower Cross Country Course: (This is the course for Intermediate & Preliminary levels) Take Exit 80 and head North on Bullfrog Road. Go 1/2 mile and turn right on Woodduck Road. Parking for cars is along left side of Woodduck Road while trailers park on right side of road.

Fees

Draw checks to Equestrians' Institute. Entry:I, P$270; T, N, BN: $250 Stabling: $150 Thurs. 9am - Sunday 3 pm. Additional Stabling Nights: $40. RV Hookup: $120 Thursday-Sunday. Additional RV Nights: $40. Haul-in fee: $60 per horse for non-stabled horses. Shavings: $11/bag. Refunds before CD less $25 office fee; after CD refunds only given if space can be filled less $50. $35 late fee for entries received after CD. USEA Starter/D&M Fees and COVID-19 Recovery Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery fee ($5), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. If competition is canceled, no refunds will be given. Withdrawal/cancellation requests must be in writing or email to Sec. Each revision after closing date will incur $20 change fee. $50 fee for all returned checks.

Entries

ENTRIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED UNTIL PAID. Entries submitted through Xentry paid with a credit card will be accepted based on date of payment. Mailed Xentries or entries will be accepted based on the postmark of when payment is mailed. Please, SEND A COPY of your online entry to Secretary. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. (See refund policy in FEES paragraph). Double entries accepted. Organizer reserves the right to limit multiple entries if oversubscribed. If oversubscribed, priority will be given to Preliminary and Intermediate level riders. Proof of current Negative Coggins Test, and Health Certificate may be requested by secretary for out-of-state horses. Per USEF Rule: Proof of Flu Vaccination within 6 months must be available if requested. Inability to furnish proof of vaccination, health certificate or coggins (if needed), may result in disqualification without return of entry fees. Required at all levels: USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full). Intermediate & Preliminary level riders please submit copies of USEF cards for rider, owner and trainer. CANADIAN CHECKS NOT ACCEPTED - Canadians may use online Xentry with credit card. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Training, Novice and Beginner Novice will be on the upper course.Footing is woodsy loam on groomed trails with terrain changes. Intermediate and Preliminary levels will be located at the lower course, off Woodduck Road. Course is wide trails through pine forest, groomed and conditioned footing. Cross-country courses closed Monday, August 23 at 12:01 am.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Stabling: $150 from 10 am on Thurs. to 3 pm Sunday. NO Tack Stalls available. Please Note: Additional Stabling Nights - $40/night. 2 bags of bedding are included with your entry. Pre-ordered shavings $11 per bag. Haul In fee: $60 per day for non-stabled horses. For "Stable With" requests, please use a single name for the group. Veterinarian: Phone number will be posted at Office. Farrier: Rick Hall. On grounds (usually near Shavings barn x office) Friday morning thru Sunday; Phone: 509 899 5619. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate non-compete horses.

Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under eligible section and birth date on entry. Some food and vendors on grounds. Dogs must be leashed or pay $50 fine. We appreciate any volunteer time one can offer sign up through www.EventingVolunteers.com SCHOOLING ROUNDS: Dressage and T-BN Show Jumping Rounds, weather dependent will be available Thursday 10:00-4:00. Online sign up will begin Monday, August 30th. $30/round at www.einw.org/eventing. Horse Vaccination Reminder: Per USEF rules we require all horses to have proof of Influenza and Equine Herpes vaccination within 6 months of show to be on the grounds. You may be required to show proof of vaccination. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.”
