USEA Starter/D&M Fees and COVID-19 Recovery Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery ($5), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY CLOSING DATE! Entries received after closing date a post entry fee of $50 will be charged. $25 change fee for any changes made after closing date. All entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Paper pinneys used. Incomplete Entries - $15. Refunds: Before C.D.- Full Refund; after C.D. no refund, unless entry or stabling can be filled from waitlist, if either are filled either will be refunded less $25 office fee. Competition cancellation-No refund. PRELIMINARY and ABOVE must send copy of USEF cards for rider, trainer and owner or pay $45 USEF show pass fee. Intro riders are exempt from USEA membership and horse registration, and the USEA Starter/D&M/COVID-19 Recovery Fees do not apply.
Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org.

New Trailer Parking Policy: Trailer parking is extremely tight, you will not be able plan on tacking up horses at your trailer or putting awnings out. Tack stalls or tack truck is HIGHLY recommended. AI/I-3100m @ 550 mpm. P-2700m @ 520 mpm. MT-2100m @ 470 mpm. T-2100m @ 420mpm. N-1800m @ 375 mpm. BN-1600m @ 350mpm. Intro-1400 m @ 300 mpm, max height 24", 12-15 efforts. All courses except MTChallenge: Average, for horses/riders with some experience at these levels. MTraining Challenge cross-country course will be above average difficulty for the level. Courses have more terrain, than other CA courses. Cross-country courses closed August 1st at dark.

Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food on grounds. Dogs must be leashed – a $100 fine will be assessed for any dogs not on a leash. Team Competition: Teams of 3/4, best 3 scores to count, all team members at same level. $5/member.

MTraining Challenge will feature modified dressage test B on Friday August 13 with more technically challenging XC Saturday August 14 with a modified SJ course Saturday evening at 6PM. Height of SJ 1.05m. Stay tuned for details regarding food and beverage service for the MTChallenge on Saturday evening. We will email our competitors list and update our social media for details on the dinner as COVID-19 protocols change.
COVID-19 Rules for equestrian sports which include social distancing, masks and self temperature checks will be the minimum enforced for this event. We wish you all a safe and successful event.
EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
