Fees

Entries: $425.00 all levels; includes stabling (F-Sunday, extra day $40), office fee $25. Camping: $150.00/wkend LIMITED MUST specify electrical needs, reserve w/entry. Golf cart: $150.00/wkend, reserve to secretary w/entry - limited. Golf cart drivers must be 18 years old Tack Stall: Unavailable at present, may update Bedding: No initial bedding provided. Bags may be purchased in advance for $8/bag, $10 at show. Post CD: $50.00 late entry NSF: $50.00 collected before entry/CC only. Refunds: Before closing date, refunds less $25 office fee. After closing date, if spot can be filled, refunds less $50 office fee, otherwise, no refund for withdrawal after closing date. Withdrawals after closing date require vet/physician statement to organizer. No telephone withdrawals accepted, e-mails only. Competition cancellation - no refund. USEA Starter/D&M Fees and COVID-19 Recovery Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery fee ($5) are not subject to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Executed and dated signature page (rider, owner and trainer).
Negative coggins dated July 30, 2020 or later.
Copy of USEF card if riding Preliminary. The date on which ALL items listed above are received will be recorded as "Received Date." Payment, signature page and Coggins must be postmarked within 4 days of entry. Incomplete entries will not be entered. Entry status posted at www.catalpacorner.org and Event Entries. Ride times will be available on July 28th.

Fees:.
All levels $425; includes stabling (F-Sunday), and $25 non-refundable office fee.

Any entry postmarked or completed after closing date is a late entry and $50 late fee applies. NO changesallowedafter July 26th other than dropping to a lower level with organizer approval. Change of horse or rider requires completion of a new entry. Withdrawals/scratches accepted by email only before 9 p.m. on the closing date.Post entries acceptedif space available with a $50 late fee.

All entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Stallion Entry requires organizer approval and may require extra stall purchase $150.00. Preliminary:
  • Riders: USEA, USEF membership cards required or $45 non-member.
  • Horse: USEA full registration, USEF horse registration not required.
  • Owners and Trainers: USEA membership not required. USEF required or $45 non-member fee.
  • Include USEF cards for rider and owner or include fees.
  • Rider and Owners at Preliminary must send all USEF membership cards, or a USEF Show Pass fee will be charged.
  • If rider is a minor, 18 years or younger, the parent may sign as trainer only and not pay the $45 USEF Show Pass fee.
USEA: Current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full or Life) and horse registration (Limited for T, N, BN or Full) are required at all levels except Starter. Starter is exempt from USEA membership/horse registration, and the USEA Starter/D&M and COVID-19 Recovery fees do not apply. Coggins:Negative Coggins dated within 12 months. Health Certificate:Mandatory for out-of-state horse within 30 days. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Awards

$500/division, trophy, prizes and 8 ribbons per division. Madison Brigham Memorial Award Low Point Overall Junior, must be present for award. Iowa Pony Club Low Point Award - register with secretary - must be present for award. Amanda Johnson Low Point Adult Amateur Dressage Award, must be present for award.

Stabling/Veterinarian

When requesting stabling groupsplease enter using the same name in block for reservation, i.e, stable name or one person's last name. Initial Bedding not provided. Stall stripping not required. Permanent stalls on grounds; stall doors provided, otherwise temporary stalls on grounds/nearby with fronts, electric hook ups, 10' x 10', tent. Courses may feature gallopingflats, woods, pastoral, natural streams, and terrain. Aerovation of galloping lanes, and rings as needed. P@520 mpmTo include banks, steps, water complex,natural streams, bump, skinny, offsets, corner, tables, logs/drops, expect terrain. T@450 mpmTo include banks, steps, water complex, natural streams,skinny, corner, coffin, basket, and combination. N@400 mpmTo include bank, water complex, natural stream, corner and expect jumps on terrain. BN@350 mpm To include natural fences, bank, water complex, and modest terrain. ST@325 mpm To include natural fences optional water complex and simple terrain. Height not to exceed 2 ft. Time Limit. Cross-country closed on June 19th.

Other Information

Catered food available for purchase Friday evening. Dinner Party (Saturday) will be free for riders and volunteers at party barn from 5 - 7 pm. Concessions on grounds Saturday and Sunday, catered by Jerry and Margie's Catering. Cross-country schooling available on Sunday, must sign separateCCCHT release and $50 /horse. Riders must have ground person 18 yo or older accompanying them oncourseduring schooling. Eliminated riders can school x-country on Sunday for FREE - organizer and TD permission required. No unauthorized motorized vehicles on X-C. Dogs must be leashed.Nodogs on cross-country course duringSaturday competition. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
