Welcome green riders and horses! This year's Starter/Elementary/Intro level will be a combined test (dressage & SJ), with a certificate for a one-day pass to school the XC course. If you use your pass on Sunday after close of the Horse Trials, the Starter/Elementary/Intro track will be flagged and decorated. Also for this level, braiding and jackets are not required.

Entries not paid beforeClose Date will be assesseda $50 late fee and will lose their stall preference/priority. USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee and must be paid as provided on entry form. USEA membership and horse registration required for all levels, except Intro(Elem/Starter). Intro(Elem/Starter) competitors: USEA membership not required (but $25 fee for nonmembers) and starter fees do not apply. Changes will be accommodated after Close Date for no additional charge, if feasible. Refunds: Consistent with other Area VII events, refunds in full before Close Date, but after Close Date refund will be allowedonly if the rider's place can be filled from the waiting list (which will be established in order of paid entries received, followed by other entries received).Once ride times are published, refunds may be allowed only if entry can be filled for same division. Competition cancellation - refund. USEA Starter/ D&M and COVID-19 Recovery Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery fee ($5) will be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. Withdrawal/cancellation/refund request must be in writing or by email to organizer. All out of state horses must have negative Coggins and health certificate within 12 months in rider's possession. Per USEF rule, proof of flu vaccination within 6 months must be available if requested. Inability to furnish proof of vaccination, health certificate or coggins (if needed) may result in disqualification without refund of entry fee. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Stabling/Veterinarian

Stall doors are provided on all stabling options: 14 covered permanent wooden (10x11) stalls in Barn A ($150 + $50 strip deposit), 20 (12x12) covered permanent metal stalls in Barn B ($150 + $50 strip deposit), and 12 (12x12) panel pens under permanent cover in Barn C ($100 no stall strip), allassigned in order of paid entry. If needed for overflow, we will have uncovered panel pens for $50.No hot wires or panels. Barn open Friday; arrivals before Friday by permission only.Send $50 separate check for stall strip deposit if requesting Barn A or Barn B. Fun and Food! We'll try to have a food truck on site again - watch website and FaceBook for details. We will alsocater the party (FREE for all sponsors, volunteers, competitors and guests!) on Saturday night under the tent.We love dogs, but our Park rules require them to be on leashes.Loose dogs will result in $100 donation to Warfield Park. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
