Go 0.7 mi to Rt. 112, Seneca Road (gas station on corner). Turn right. Go 4.2 mi. Turn right onto Partnership Rd. Go 0.7 mi. to Bittersweet Field on right. From Beltway 495: Take River Rd exit #39, toward Potomac. Go 11.3 mi to stop sign. Turn left at stop sign (still River Rd) & continue 1.4 mi. Turn right onto Partnership Rd. Go 0.7 mi. to Bittersweet Field on right. Alternate VA Route: Take US Rt. 15 North from Leesburg, VA. Immediately after the Potomac River bridge, turn right on Rt. 28 through Point of Rocks. The days divisions are run may change due to the number of entries! We strongly urge Modified and Training competitors to advise the Secretary by email to indicate any day that you could not compete. Event Fees Directory: Draw checks to SVPC Horse Trials. Entry Fees (plus applicable USEA/USEF fees): I: $250; P: $240; M: $230; T: $220; N: $215; BN: $210; LATE FEES: after closing date and thru June 5 = $50; after June 5 (if space permits) = $75. All fees must be received by Secretary before ride times will be assigned!Late Fees apply to any entries postmarked or submitted through Xentry after May 25, 2021.

Stabling:No sponsored stabling; check website for list of local barns who are willing to provide stabling.

Refunds:All entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. Before close date - full refund minus $25 office fee. After close date - less $50 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list.

Starter/D&M Fees and COVID-19 Recovery Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery fee ($5), are not subject to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. Competition cancellation-refunds or rebates will be provided - amount will be determined after payment of expenses.



Entries

SOS - Save Our Secretary by entering and paying on-line via Xentry or evententries.com! We strongly prefer electronic transmission of entries via XEntry, evententries.com or e-mail. Credit card payments can be made through XEntry,evententries.com or via PayPal (see our website for link). Incomplete entries (including failure to pay all fees) subject to late fees if not completed by close date and will be put on wait list. Xentry entries must e-mail/mail signature page, coggins and payment (if necessary) to Secretary within five (5) days of on-line entry or before closing date, whichever occurs first. Double entries not accepted. Copy of current negative coggins must accompany entry: negative coggins required for all horses. Please print a legible email address for notification purposes. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited T, N, BN, or Full) are required at all levels. Riders, trainers and/or owners of horses competing at the Modified level and above who arenot USEF members will be required to pay the USEF $45 Show Pass fee with entry(note: a coach may or may not be a trainer; trainers are those who feed or care for the horse). Return check fee $35. If participating in the Jockey Club TIP program, please provide a copy of TIP card/TIP registration number with entry, or no later than June 12th. Changes: After close date-$25 per change (horse, rider and/or division are each a separate change!); After 6/5-$50 per change. Late Entries: After closing date and before June 5 = $50; after June 5 = $75. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found atwww.usef.org.

Lower level courses are inviting and good for young horses looking transition to the next level. Terrain is slightly rolling with the majority of the courses in open fields. Recent improvements include reconfiguration of the water complex and addition of several new frangible obstacles. Fields will be aerated as needed and as permitted by weather conditions. Cross-country competition course closed after May 27, 2021. Competition course open for public schooling only on scheduled schooling days (check website for dates of Open Schooling).. Riders may be limited on number of horses for entire event. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Limited water available on grounds, but advisable to bring your own as water tanks may not be convenient to your trailer! A sharps container will be available at the secretary's stand. Food service on grounds. Dogs must be leashed. No non-competing horses on grounds; no hacking out on grounds prior to competition date. No motorbikes on x-C while horses are on course. Please follow instructions from parking attendants for trailer parking. Official schooling days Check website for schedule and process. Release forms will be posted on website. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
