Welcome to the 35th annual Mill Creek Pony Horse Trial. MCPC HT is proud to annouce we are hosting the Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL) Team Challenge this year. The mission of IEL is to bring together junior riders with a common interest and provide a supportive community through which students can continue to pursue their riding interests. We hope if you are in 7th -12th grade you will partiicpate.

Entries

Preliminary entries must include copies of USEF membership cards for riderand owner. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. USEA membership/registration requirements effective December 1, 2017 for Beginner Novice. This level will no longer have the option to pay a $25 non-member fee: riders must be a current Junior, Full, Life or Collegiate member and horses registered with either a Limited status or Full. $50 returned check fee. All competitors must provide pinny holder (available for sale at area tack shops or from our vendor, Tricolor Tack) - printed number inserts will be provided. There will be an Express Check In line for competitors who have submitted complete entries, provided Coggins and Health Certificate by Tuesday 5/11/2021. Neg. Coggins within 12 months required for all horses (include copy with entry) & 30 day health certificate required (FOR ALL HORSES) within 30 days to be presented to show secretary upon arrival. MCPC HT is also offering a Starter level horse trial (Dressage test=USEF 2018 Beginner Novice Test B-Sm; jumping max. height of 2'3" and max width of 18" (which will include all three phases. Also offered are two Combined Tests - Starter level (max height 2'3") and Green as Grass (max height of 18"-combination of cross rails and verticals). The two Combined Tests include Dressage and Show Jumping. To enter a combined test, please note "Combined Test" on entry form. USEA membership is not required for Starter HT level and Starter/Green as Grass CT. Participants are also exempt from the USEA Starter/D&M/COVID-19 Recovery Fees and USEA Membership/Non-Membership Fees are waived. PLEASE CHECK FEES CAREFULLY - OVERPAYMENTS OF $25 OR LESS WILL BE CONSIDERED A DONATION TO THE MCPC XC JUMP BUILDING FUND! Great cash prizes in 2021!! Preliminary cash prizes - $500 for first place, $250 for second place and $100 for third place. Cash prizes for Training, Novice, and Beginner Novice: $100 first place, $50 second place, and $30 third place (overall division placing). 8 ribbons per class. Cash prize for Starter Division: $75 first place, $50 second place and $25 for third place. Other non monetary prizes: 1st-3rd placings plus various special awards TBD. Returning in 2021 Mill Creek Team Challenge! Submit team listing (4 members per team, top 3 scores count) and team name by 9:00 am on Saturday 5/15/2021 to secretary. Fabulous prizes for all team members 1st through 3rd place after cross-country (includes dressage and cross-country scores). Prizes to be awarded Saturday night. Stabling/Veterinarian

LIMITED stabling. $130/stall from 11 am, Friday to 5 pm, Sunday. 145 perm wooden stalls/no temps available. Stalls assigned by order of receipt of entry fees. Stall doors/initial bedding only provided. Extra shavingsavailable by pre-order only ($10/bale) order by 5/4/2021. Competitors are encouraged to bring their own extra shavings. $70 grounds fee, if not stabled.Indoor restrooms with running water and showers on site. Additional port-a-potties near warm up and barn areas. Midwest Region of USPC is holding their Eventing Rally in conjunction with our horse trials.
