Entries

All entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee. INCOMPLETE ENTRIES RECEIVE NO POSTMARK UNTIL THE DAY THEY ARE MADE COMPLETE, INCLUDING FEES, NUMBERS & STABLE FORM. Entries may be mailed in, but ALL FEES must be postmarked by closing date or a $50 late fee per entry will be owed. Non-postmarked entries (i.e. on-line stamps) must be received by April 6, or a $50 late fee will be charged. Hand delivered entries must be at the Stable View Main Office by closing date and contact must be made with show secretary to verify receipt. No entry scheduled without prior payment. Riders and owners at preliminary must send current copies of all USEF membership cards, or a $45 USEF show pass fee will be charged. Double entries: Not accepted. All horses and riders including foreign, must have a USEA number. All riders and horses must be members of the USEA in order to compete at the Beginner Novice level. Beginner Novice horses can be registered with a Limited registration, which allows the horse to compete at Beginner Novice through Training for the duration of its lifetime, and riders will need a Junior, Collegiate or Full membership which is renewed annually. All membership cards and horse numbers have to be to Stable View secretary by closing or a $50 late fee will be owed. Scratches & changes must be e-mailed or faxed, no phone calls, change of horse or rider requires a new entry to be mailed or e-mailed. Change Fee: $25 change fee for each change made to entry and/or stabling at any time. Neg. Coggins required for all horses within 12 months. Do not send original Coggins. Check entry status list at www.svfequestrian.com. No other notification method will be used. Check website & contact immediately if in wrong division, etc. Do not wait until times are posted, check status after you enter.

Reminder:
All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Awards

6 ribbons per division. FITS $100 Gift Certificates will be awarded to all first place finishers. TIP Awards and Prizes for the highest placed Thoroughbred Horse at each level. Register your off the track Thoroughbred at http://tjctip.com/default.asp?page=7. KWPN-NA Awards for the highest placing Dutch Warmblood horse. To be eligible for this award, Horses must be registered as KWPN-NA and a copy of breed registration papers that say “KWPN-NA” must be provided to show secretary. These papers must, in turn, be available if requested by the KWPN-NA office to verify registration. Horses registered with any registry or studbook other than KWPN-NA are not eligible.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Stabling - $80/night for regular stalls in FEI stabling barns near road. $100/night for luxury stabling in main barns closer to covered arena, includes use of a paddock. Separate stall stripping check in the amount of $50, must be included in stall reservation for each stall. Check will be destroyed if stall is stripped. Stalls MUST BE STRIPPED. Shavings $8/bag (includes tax) - please order in advance. Shavings will be available for sale on grounds for the competition. Dressage

Test & arena sizes: P-2018 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. M- 2018 Modified Test A-Sm.T-2018 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2018 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN-2018 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Some dressage may be on grass, otherwise will be on Attwood footing.

Cross-Country

Cross Country Courses designed by Mogie Bearden-Muller (MD) P - 2800 m @ 520 MPM. M - 2500 m @ 490 MPM.T - 2200 m @ 450 MPM. N - 2000 m @ 400 MPM. BN - 1600 m @ 350 MPM. All courses: Average for horses with experience at level. There will be water, banks and ditches appropriate for each level on the courses. Cross Country Track is established, irrigated and aerated turf with established Bermuda and Celebration grasses on slightly rolling sandy loam soil. Cross-country Course is closed year-round for schooling.
Volunteers can choose to receive a free XC schooling pass for one of the Eventing Academy Open Schooling Dates.

Entry limit - 400. Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food on grounds. Dogs must be leashed. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
