We encourage EARLY entries by offering better refund policy. ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY CLOSING DATE! Entries received after closing date are subject to alate fee of $50. Changes to Entry: After closing date-$25, prior to closing date-no fee. Incomplete entries-$15. Bounced Check Fee: $25. Refunds: Before C.D.-Full Refund; After Feb. 23-no refund,unlesseither entry or stabling can be filled from a wait list, a refund for either less $25 office fee will be given. Competition cancellation-No refund. Negative Coggins required for out-of-state horses within 12 months. PRELIMINARY and ABOVE must send copy of USEF cards for rider, trainer and owner. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Intro. Intro: USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived and the USEA Starter/D&M fee does not apply. CT participants who are not USEA members will pay a $25 USEA non-member fee with entry. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Stabling/Veterinarian

$140/stall from noon Wednesday to noon Monday. Non-compete horses: $100 grounds fee, $140 stall. Please order shavings before event, bagged shavings $10.00 per bag. Shavings and hay available for sale at show office: Bermuda grass and alfalfa available: $20.00/bale. Complimentary shavings not provided.Bring stall guards. Veterinarian: number posted at office.

Test & arena sizes: A/CT-A-2018 USEF Advanced Test A-Std. OI/CT-I-2018 USEF Intermediate Test A-Std. All P-2018 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. All T-2018 USEF Training Test A-Sm. All N-2018 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. All BN/Intro-2018 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Arenas: Sand.

Cross-Country

A- 3500m @ 570 mpm. I- 3200m @ 550 mpm. All P-2900 m @ 520 mpm. All T-2300 m @ 450 mpm. All N-1800 m @ 400 mpm. BN- 1750 m @ 350 mpm/max. height 2'6". Intro-1600m @ 300 mpm; options at the water, one small up bank and ditch. All courses: Average for horses with some experience at this level. All courses will have banks, ditches and a water obstacle. Gently rolling terrain, set on 40 acres. Cross-country course closed February 28th at sundown.

Copper Meadows reserves the right to change from 3-day format to a 2-day format due to number of entries. Stabling for non-competing horses is allowed. Please check for availability, Cost: $100 grounds fee, $140 stabling fee due with request. Food on grounds beginning on Thursday. Dogs allowed-must be on leash. Caution--we have severe problem with coyotes and several dogs have disappeared. Copper Meadows will be adhering to California and San Diego COVID-19 protocols, and the USEF Action Plan; please check our website to stay up to date on the current regulations and requirements. Masks will be required for anyone on grounds when not mounted.
