Address: 7430 N. Weber Ave., Fresno, CA 93722 From Highway 99: Herndon Exit (10 miles North of downtown Fresno). East acrossUnion Pacific RR (at traffic light) & immediately - 50 feet - turn north on Weber Avenue. Continue thru residential Herndon (25 mph speed limit!) to barns - 1/2 mile. Alternate if heavy traffic on Herndon Ave: after crossing railroad tracks, stay in left lane until first traffic signal (N. Riverside Drive). Turn left on N. Riverside Drive, turn left at stop sign (W. Spruce Ave.). Continue on W. Spruce Ave., it will turn into N. Devlan Ave and dead end at N. Weber. Turn right on N. Weber and proceed 1/2 mile to barns.

(HT non-stabled horses, includes cross country schooling on Sunday). Grounds Fee: $100/horse. (non-competition horses, includes cross country schooling on Sunday). Competitor's Dinner: $20/extra ticket. Shavings: $11/bag. Tack Stall: $150. Teams: $5/member.

USEA Starter/D&M Fees and COVID-19 Recovery Fee Refund Policy:The USEA Starter/D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery Fee ($5), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test or if applicable, present at the first horse inspection.

Entries

ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY CLOSING DATE! Entries received after closing date will be charged a late fee up to $50. $30 change fee for any changes made after closing date. Double Entry-$25. Incomplete Entries - $15, for all entries with missing signatures or full payment not with entry. Refunds: Before C.D.- Full Refund; after C.D. to Feb. 2-Less $50 office fee. After Feb. 2 no refund, unless entry or stabling can be filled from wait list, if either are filled either will be refunded. Competition cancellation-No refund. Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for out of state horses. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Intro. Intro participants are exempt from USEA membership and non-membership fees; USEA Starter/D&M fees do not apply. PRELIMINARY and ABOVE must send copy of USEF cards for rider, owner, and trainer. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Stabling/Veterinarian

$150/stall, AMPLE PARKING. 266 temp. stalls on grounds. Stall doors/1 bags shavings provided. $100 grounds fee for horses not entered in competition: This fee is in addition to the stall fee, includes cross-country schooling on Sunday after show.COMPETITION FLAGS AND FLOWERS WILL BE ON CROSS COUNTRY COURSES FOR SUNDAY SCHOOLING. Hay/Bedding available for purchase at show grounds; further info from Sec'y. Additional Shavings- $11/bag. Veterinarian: # will be posted at show office in stabling area.

Accommodations

La Quinta Inn & Suites Northwest (Pet Friendly) will give you the Horse Park rate $89 single/$99 if you tell them you are with Fresno County Horse Park when you call the front desk at the hotel (559) 275-3700 extension #6 to make a reservation. Camping: Allowed, No hook-ups.

Cross-Country

Extremely nice footing! I-3000m @ 550 mpm. P-2900 m @ 520 mpm. T-2300 m @ 420 mpm. N-2000 m @ 375 mpm. BN-1900 m @ 350 mpm/max. height 2'6"-2'7". All Intro-1400 m @ 300 mpm height 20" - 24" with water option. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at this level. Cross-country course closes February 2nd at dusk.

Other Information

Ample parking and space for "tailgate meals". Dogs must be on leash during competition hours, in barns and at warm up. Donation of $100 required to Friends of West Coast Eventing (Anne Howard, [email protected]) for loose dogs. Cross-country course closes Tuesday, February 2nd at dusk. Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food on grounds. Team Competition: Teams of three or four; best three scores to count - all team members at the same level; $5/ per member. Cross country schooling on Sunday after competition allowed. FCHP uses paper pinney numbers, rider must provide their own vinyl pinney/bib COVID-19 Rules for equestrian sports which include social distancing, masks, and self temperature checks will be the minimum enforced for this event.
