Aiken is North of Augusta, GA & South of Columbia, SC. From South-exit I-20 at exit 18 & take 19 south (right) to second light left on Hwy 118 (Rutland Dr) cross Hwy 302 and go left on Hwy 78. From North-exit I-20 at exit 22 & take Rte 1 South about 5mi go left on Hwy 118 (Rutland Dr) cross Hwy 302 and go left on Hwy 78. Note: From Town center About 1 mile from town center Hwy 78 exits to the right (was a fork in the road) From the West SDF is on the left 2.5mi from Montmorenci Fire Co. From the East SDF is on the right 1.3mi past Oakwood Elementary School.

Refunds: Before C.D.‑ Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.‑ No refunds unless spot can be filled off of wait list. All withdrawals must be in writing. Withdrawals or changes will not be accepted by phone, must mail, fax, or email. Competition cancellation-Possible partial refunded.
USEA Starter/D&M and COVID-19 Recovery Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($25) and COVID-19 Recovery fee ($5), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entries

Sporting Days Farm HT uses www.EVENTENTRIES.com for entries, scoring & live Scoring. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Include legible and current email address on entry. All correspondence from secretary will be via email. Double entries: Not accepted. All riders and horses except Starter must be members of the USEA in order to compete. Combined Test riders are exempt from USEA membership, but non-members must pay a $25 USEA non-membership fee with entry. Starter/D&M/COVID-19 fees do not apply. If entering electronically; payment, signature page and Coggins must be postmarked within 5 days of entering or entry will be considered incomplete and the entry will be assigned a postmark date at the time it is complete and payment is received. If oversubscribed multiple rides may be limited - please indicate order of preference. Complete entries are those that are paid in full and all paperwork received.Riders and Owners at Preliminary must send current copies of all USEF membership cards, or a $45 USEF Show Passfee will be charged. ANY entrypostmarkedafter Closing Date will be considered a late entry and the $50 Late fee applies. Additionally, any electronic or faxed entry made prior to Closing Date must be COMPLETE by closing or will be also considered a late entry and charged the $50 Late fee. Late fee policywill be strictly adhered to! Any entries remaining incomplete at the event will be charged anadditional$25 fee. Scratches/Changes must be in writing via email only. CHANGES made up to CD no change fee. CHANGES made after CD will be charged a $25 fee/per change. Except dropping down a level (no change fee charged) NO CHANGES after January 31st. Change of horse or rider requires anew entry to be faxed or e-mailed. If space allows and post entries are accepted they will be charged an additional $50 late fee. Neg. Coggins required for all horses within 12 months and must accompany entry. Wait List Policy: Completed Entries are added to the competition in the order they are received. After the entry limit is reached, additional entries are placed on the Wait List in the order they are received. Only entries received by Closing Date and paid in full are placed on the Wait List. All entries received after the closing dates are ineligible for the Wait List. Once scheduling of the competition is complete substitutions will be made from the wait list BY DIVISION only. The Wait List expires on Sunday January 31 at 9 pm. All checks are destroyed or refunded after the termination of the wait list. After the CD and before the termination of the wait list, in order to receive a refund your spot must be filled from the wait list. Scratches after the close of the wait list date are not eligible for a refund. With the expiration of the wait list, no scratched spotsare filled. Pre-Event Volunteers receive a free XC School for 6 hours help which can be accumulated in 3 hour blocks. Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for penalties against those responsible for the child committing the offense. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. The unsafe use of personal electronic transport devices, as determined by the competition officials and management in their sole discretion, that do not require a driver’s license to operate, including but not limited to segways, hover boards, and single wheeled scooters is prohibited on competition grounds. Operating such devices in areas where people gather may be deemed “unsafe use” if there is a risk of harm to others. If the operator of the device is a minor, the parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating the device in violation of this rule is accountable and may be subject to penalties. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. USEF Membership Requirements, Licensed Drivers on grounds/Golf Cart Rule & USEF Federation Page USEF Membership: Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Modified Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR218) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.
