The Event at Isaacks Ranch in Las Cruces, NM has undergone a grounds face lift and is under Isaacks Family management. Updates for all levels of the cross-country course include; tracks and jumps, ditches, 2 waters, and a bank complex. Come have fun!

Address: 65 County Rd, D-66, Las Cruces, NM 88012 From Albuquerque: I-25 south, Exit US 70 (Exit 6) Turn East (left) 6 miles to Holman/Dunn Road Exit, Turn North (left), proceed north on Holman for 3.5 miles, turn Left on County Road D-066, look for Isaacks Ranch Sign across from the entrance of county road. There are 3 orange balls on the telephone wires above the entrance of the county road. Follow dirt road to stables entranced and check in. From Arizona: I-10 to I-25 north, Exit Hwy 70 (Exit 6) continue as above. From Alamogordo:Hwy-70 West, Exit Holman/Dunn Road, continue as above. Directions may also be looked up on Google maps. NOTE: County Road D-066 and Cattleguard trail are the same road.

Refunds:
Before Closing Date: Entry fee minus $25 non-refundable office fee.
After Closing Date: Entry Fee minus $50, if spot can be filled from waiting list.
Competition Cancellation: No Refund. Stalls Refund: Before CD, full refund. After CD, No refund, unless stall can be filled from waiting list, then full refund. If vet or doctor excuse is submitted the rider will receive a non-refundable voucher for an Isaacks Ranch event for the following year.
USEA Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($25), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Starter and Pre-Comp competitors are exempt from USEA membership/non-membership fees and USEA Starter Drugs/Meds Fees.

Preliminary level or above, riders, owners and trainers must be individual members of the Equestrian Federation (USEF) or for non-members, participants must pay a $45.00 U.S. Equestrian Federation Show Pass fee. If one person holds more than one position, e.g., rider and trainer, only one payment of $45 is required. A copy of USEF membership card(s) (P Division only) must accompany your entry

Entries

Entry limit of 80. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. A USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Full or Limited) are required at all levels, except Starter and Mini. Changes after C.D. $30. Entries after C.D. $75 late fee. Double Entries accepted, $20 fee. Returned checks $75. Riders must provide their own cross country number holder, Isaacks Ranch uses paper pinny numbers, limited bibs available for purchase at the event for $20. Register and Pay online at Xentry.com Stadium Jump Test will begin Friday at 10 am, lowest to highest with course set. Email event secretary [email protected] to sign up in advance, $20 per test. Negative Coggins required within 12 months and documentation showing vaccinations for Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (rhinopneumonitis) within 6 months. Copy of current Neg. Coggins must accompany entry. Submitted entries not paid by closing date will not be included in the ride times. Cross-country schooling available after the competition on Sunday for $25 per horse, check with secretary prior to schooling, Trainer must be present.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Limit, 80 permanent stalls on show grounds, 10 x 10, 3 sided wood with pipe front and roof. $120/stall Thursday Sept 24th 8 am- Sunday Sept 27th 8 pm. Additional days before or after event for $25/day. Refundable stall cleaning deposit fee of $25 charged at time of registration. Refund given prior to departure at time of inspection by stabling steward. Grounds fee for Horse Trials entries, not stabling, $50. Stall doors and & initial bedding only provided. Additional shavings may be purchased for $10/bag, please Pre-order/Pre-pay extra shavings (will be delivered to stall). NO Hay in the trash cans, NO trash in manure piles. Veterinarian: TBD, contact info will be posted at the stables and scoreboards. On-call Friday, On-Site all day Saturday and Sunday. Farrier: TBD, On-call Friday, On-Site all day Saturday and Sunday. Cross-Country

Tentative Distances: P: 2600m @ 520 mpm. PT/T: – 2400m @ 420 mpm – 18-20 fences, N: – 2000m @ 375 mpm – 14-17 fences, BN: – 1600 - @ 350 mpm – 14-17 fences, max fence height 2'7”, Starter:– 1500m @ 325 mpm – 10-12 fences, max fence height 2'3”, Mini (Intro): – 1400 m @ 300 mpm - 10-12 fences, max fence height 2'. Courses: All courses located in the flat open desert terrain with mesquite trees, yuccas, and cactus with a caliche/sand mix as the footing. All tracks have new or updated jumps and are designed to be a nice introductory to each level with good progression and questions. Cross-country course closed September 10th, 2020 at 5pm. Elevation is about 3900 feet.


Other Information

There is a working cattle ranch bordering the cross country course, cows may be present. Mobile Food Truck on grounds Friday, Saturday, Sunday. DOGS MUST BE LEASHED and controlled, $50 donation for each dog. Raffle Prizes: 1 ticket included in Rider Packet, additional tickets may be purchased for $5 each or $20 for 5 at Office. Silent Auction located at Office. Please empty your water bottles before throwing away.Please do not put bags of hay in trash barrels.
