Event is 1.9 miles on right. Construction: Competitors coming from south MD-28 below the Monocacy River, be aware of ongoing construction and potential closures on the Monocacy River Bridge. The bridge is usually closed on weekends.

Grooms, parents, etc. must sign USEA/USEF waiver and Loch Moy Farm waiver, to be submitted on arrival after temperature check. DO NOT EMAIL waivers for non-competitors; they will not be retained. ENTRIES MUST BE COMPLETE BEFORE ARRIVAL: On-time entries still incomplete one week before the event will be charged $20 per missing item. This includes, signature pages, coggins, muck deposits, horse or rider numbers, etc. Missing Items fees will be enforced. Submit ALL items before event! INCOMPLETE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED. DIVISION SECTIONS: Championship Divisions: If entries warrant divisions will be further split to Adult Amateur, Open, Young Horse, Junior/Young. Modified Division: If entries warrant, division will be split into Open and Rider. Indicate preference on entry form. USEA MEMBERSHIP: USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full, Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels. PAYMENT: All entry fees must be in US funds. REMINDER: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Stabling/Veterinarian

Stabling: STALLS ARE FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED and WILL BE LIMITED TO ENCOURAGE SOCIAL DISTANCING. Appx 48 permanent stalls with stall doors available on site; 10 permanent stalls across the street. In addition, there will be 10 temporary stalls on site if warranted. $75 per night includes one initial bag of bedding. Additional bedding $10/bag. PRE-ORDER bedding if buying more than two (2) bags. Competitors wishing to stay for the week, call (301)514-0111 or email [email protected]. Tack Stall: $75 per night. Plenty of tack stalls will be available due to social distancing measures! Trailer Parking: Stabling trailers to be parked in a satellite site on the property. Only cars, trucks and trailers paying for hookup will be allowed at stabling. Muck Deposit: Pay Muck Deposit online or as a separate check. Muck deposits MUST be in by Sunday, October 4 to avoid Missing Items fee. Stalls must be stripped and swept to have deposit returned. Cross-Country

Cross-Country:AI/I-3400 m @ 550 mpm. P-3000 m @ 520 mpm. M-2800 m @ 500 mpm. T-2500 m @ 450 mpm. N-2100 m 375 mpm. B-1800 m @ 350 mpm.
Courses are on well established, rolling pasture that will be aggravated. I has track over rolling terrain, with bold gallop fences, terrain and accuracy questions. P/M has terrain and accuracy questions, bold gallop fences. T has terrain questions that focus on the development of better balance and accuracy. N/BN Good educational and inviting tracks.
Area 2 Championship courses will differ from common horse trials tracks; longer distances and more challenging routes through the combinations at all levels.

PAPER NUMBER PINNIES will be used for cross country. Riders must bring pinny holders with them.

NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON CROSS COUNTRY. Do not walk dogs on cross country while horses are on course.

Organizer/management reserves the right to remove anyone from the grounds for any reason. As of opening date (8/25), spectators/guests are NOT permitted at USEF events or any sporting events taking place in the state of Maryland. Limit your team to grooms/ essential personnel only. All dogs must be leashed per USEF rule GR 301.6; failure to comply could result in elimination and $100 fine, and you may be asked to leave the property. NO EXCEPTIONS!
