A NOTE FROM COURSE DESIGNER IAN STARK: Whilst sitting in lockdown at home in Scotland we are looking ahead to Maryland International Horse Trials in July. With the Covid 19 decimating our season so far we realize that this may be the first event of the year for all of us, therefore please be assured that the courses will reflect the lack of competitions. They were planned before any lockdown and so they will now be modified by reducing some of the technical difficulty. Our main aim is to get everyone enjoying themselves and building confidence so look forward to seeing you soon. -Ian CCI-S3*-3400 m @ 550 mpm. CCI-S2*-3000 m @ 520 mpm. CCI-S1*-3000 m @ 500 mpm. I-3400 m @ 550 mpm. P-3000 m @ 520 mpm. M-3000 m @ 500 mpm. T-2500 m @ 450 mpm. N-2100 m 400 mpm. Courses are on well established, rolling pasture that will be aggravated. I/P/M/T Challenging tracks; I/P/M has terrain and accuracy questions. T has terrain questions that focus on the development of better balance and accuracy. N Rolling terrain, good educational and inviting tracks. BN Rolling terrain, good educational and inviting tracks. Courses and tracks will change between Week 1 and 2. Week 2 courses will be more inviting.

Numbers will be emailed, and YOU MUST PRINT OR WRITE OUT YOUR PINNY NUMBERS. Please write clearly. Riders must bring pinny holders with them.

Stabling: STALLS WILL BE LIMITED TO ENCOURAGE SOCIAL DISTANCING. 27 permanent stalls with stall doors available on site; 7 permanent stalls across the street. In addition, there will be 7 temporary stalls on site if warranted. $75 per night includes one initial bag of bedding. Additional bedding $10/bag. PRE-ORDER bedding if buying more than two (2) bags. Competitors wishing to stay for the week, call (301)514-0111 or email [email protected]. Tack Stall: $75 per night. Plenty of tack stalls will be available due to social distancing measures! Trailer Parking: Stabling trailers to be parked in a satellite site on the property. Only cars, trucks and trailers paying for hookup will be allowed at stabling. Muck Deposit: Pay Muck Deposit as separate check! Muck deposits MUST be in by Sunday, June 28 to avoid Missing Items fee. Stalls must be stripped and swept to have deposit returned. SEND MUCK DEPOSIT BEFORE ARRIVAL!
Camping: W/electric hookup (only eight available on a first-come basis): $40.00/night. Without hookup: $25/night. Only trailers that pay for camping may be parked at the barn. Space is limited.

OTHER: No unauthorized motorized vehicles on course. Only Official vehicles allowed. Concessions MAY BE available on grounds, depending on State of Maryland orders and recommendations. It is advised to bring your own meals. Water on grounds but it is advised to bring your own. There will be a $100 fine for any dog not on a leash at any time during the weekend and the owner may be asked to leave the grounds. - Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs’ behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warning cards.
