Directions
From Salem & SR 45: Go south on SR 9 for 6.3 miles turn left on Schneider Rd (only goes left) sign on telephone pole. East to Stone Gate Farm. The event entrance is at the bottom of the hill and stabling and parking is past the dressage rings and dome. Do not pull in on top by the house
From the South: Intersection of SR 9 & 172 go north on SR 9 for 1 mile to the first road. Schneider Rd. will only go to the right. Stone Gate Farm sign on telephone pole. Grounds 3/4 mile on the right side. Stabling drive is at the bottom of the hill past the house.
PLEASE NOTE: The event entrance is at the bottom of the hill. Stabling and parking is past the dressage rings and dome. The secretary will be in a camper near the show jumping pavilion Do not pull in on top by the house.

Entries
All entries and payment must be made via Xentry.Any incomplete entries that are not completed by closing date will be assessed a $25 late fee. ALL paper work & payment MUST be received or they will NOT be scheduled. All entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter. Starter Test does NOT require USEA/USEF Membership; USEA Starter D&M Fees do not apply. PRELIMINARY entries must include USEF numbers for rider, trainer and owner or pay for a day pass. Neg. Coggins (dated after July 5, 2019) is required for all horses.
Any e-mail communication with the Secretary must include Winona in the subject line as she will be handling 2 competitions at one time.
T.I.P. entries must submit a copy of their T.I.P. card. Entry errors that are $25 or less will be considered contributions to the cross country building fund. $25 fee for any changes after closing date.Refunds: Before C.D.‑Less $25 non-refundable office fee. After C.D.‑Entry less $25 ONLY if place filled from waiting list. On grounds stabling‑In full ONLY if place filled from wait list and if notified by June 30. Prize & 8 ribbons per division. T.I.P. Awards: for the top 2 placing TB's for ALL levels (not each division) including Starter (must include a copy of their T.I.P. card with entry).
Stabling/Veterinarian
Stabling:ON GROUNDS STABLING FILLS UP FAST AND ARE ASSIGNED ON A 'FIRST COME BASIS' GET YOUR ENTRIES IN EARLY! $75.00 weekend.82 perm. stalls on grounds. Off grounds stabling 6 - 12 miles away. Stall gates on ALL stalls. NO INITIAL BEDDING PROVIDED. Bedding is available for purchase: Bagged shavings $7/bag, Straw $4/bale and must be pre-ordered to guarantee availability by Tuesday June 23rd. If yo udecide to order bedding after your entry has been submitted, contact secretary for PayPal instructions. Bedding will be in your stall upon arrival.PLEASE USE ONLY ONE NAME FOR "STABLE WITH". On grounds stabling is NOT appropriate for stallions, contact secretary for options. Veterinarian: Dr. David Smith (lives on grounds), (330) 424-2310. # posted at each barn & secretary's office. OP-2800 m @ 520 mpm. OT-2500 m @ 425 mpm. ON-2000 m @ 350 mpm. BN-1700 m @ 325 mpm. Starter-Aproximately 1,200 at 300mpm. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at this level. P-Good early season. BN-Inviting, good starter course, Fences approx. 2'7", water optional. Starter Test-XC Fences Approximately 2'. Rolling terrain, slightly flatter track in the spring. Water,banks, and ditches at all levels except Starter. Course maps will be available on My Course Walk.Cross-countryCourse closed June 23rd.

Join us Saturday at the end of competition for fun and frivolity at the Saturday Night at the Races (entries will be limited so no one has to share horses) andto celebrate the35th Anniversary of the Winona Horse Trials!If you have any pictures to share, especially from the Huffman farm, we would love to have them to share with all the competitors new and old. He sure to put a year on the picture if available.

Riders will be responsibly for making their own numbers. Medical armbands make good holders for dressage numbers.Click here for printable numbers.
The 2' Starter Test does NOT require USEA/USEF Membership OR association fees. However, all riders and horse must be members of the USEA in order to compete at the Beginner Novice level.

Entries may be limited.Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under Eligible Section and birth date on entry.
If we have a food vendor on the grounds it will be pre-ordered with designated time for pickup
Dogs must be leashed.
Note: ALL parking will now be down near the stabling area. Motor homes that are NOT attached to a horse trailer will have to park in the day parking field. Only tow vehicles parked in front of the trailerand official vehicles will be allowed in the stabling parking area. If staying overnight horses must be stabled; NO tying to or leaving horses in trailers. PLEASE no foals.
