Entry fee includes a $25 non-refundable office fee.Double entries: Not accepted. Refunds: Before C.D. - Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D. - No refund; Competition cancellation-No refund. Any late changes will be scheduled first in the order of go. All scratches must be sent via email to secretary – make sure to get a return receipt. Neg. Coggins required within 12 months of competition date for all horses (coggins test that expire prior to September 16, 2018 will not be accepted). USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Intro. Intro riders are waived USEA membership. At Intro USEA Starter/D&M fees do not apply. Electronic entries only accepted through USEA's Xentry. Although you can fill out an entry using EventEntries.com, they will NOT be transmitted electronically and must be mailed to the Secretary. Only Xentry provides electronic submission of your entry. ENTER EARLY AND COMPLETE------ AVOID FEES Complete entry consists of - Entry page, Completed Signed signature/waiver page, Coggins (valid through September 16, 2018), and Payment. Emailed copies (PDF) or legible photos of signature pages & valid coggins are accepted - try finding scanner application for your smartphone like the iscanner app. Entries are not considered complete until payment is received. As per US Equestrian Rules for Eventing; EV106.2 Entries - "Entries must bereceived by the end of the day on the closing date" Any changes BEFORE closing date will incur a $25 fee per change. Any changes AFTER closing date will incur a $50 fee per change. Any entry not complete by closing date will incur a $50 fee. Entries,if accepted after closing date incur $75 fee and only accepted with credit card payment. Any paperwork notreceived from late entries by Monday, September 9 at 5pm will incur additional $50 fee. NOTE TO COMPETITORS: The after-market sale, trade or swap of entries is expressly forbidden without the prior written consent of the Organizer and all appropriate late and/or change fees being paid. Courses are open and galloping - a good percentage of the fences per level are big and solid. Cross-country Course ALWAYS closed except for designatedschooling day after event. Awards

$1500 CASH AWARD FOR THE 4 LOW SCORE NOVICE HORSE/RIDER COMBINATIONS ACROSS ALL DIVISIONS OF NOVICE WHO ARE ALSO CDCTA MEMBERS. IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIABLE ENTRIES MUCH BE COMPLETE AND PERFECT BEFORE CLOSING DAY AND RIDERS MUST BE MEMBERS OF CDCTA PRIOR TO ENTRY. MUST SUBMITT CDCTA NUMBER WITH ENTRY . THE MONEY WILL BE DIVIDED BETWEEN FIRST THROUGH FOURTH WITH RIBBONS. MUST BE PRESENT FOR AWARDS IN DRESSAGE ATTIRE MOUNTED OR THE AWARD IS FORFEIT. All divisions: prizes and ribbons through 8th place Special CASH Awards: Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP) and Virginia Bred Awards. See website for additional information and applications.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Local stabling within 5 minutes (3 miles) of the event site. Permanent stalls w/stall doors, approx. 10x10. Stabling is from Saturday Noon till Sunday 5 PM, cost is $80 and includes 2 bags of shavings. Stabling will be refunded in full up till Sunday week prior to the event, then a $40 reservation and set-up fee is charged, so only $40 will be refunded. Contact show secretary for more information. Veterinarian:Clarke Equine # will be posted at secretary's office and stabling area

Entry limit 160. Make sure to bring ample water to care for your horses. Water not available on site. Cross-country course ALWAYS closed except for scheduled schooling day after event. The schooling day will be scheduled for the weekend following the event with the possibility of rescheduling due to weather.
