From Washington/Suburbs: Take I-66 West to The Plains (Exit #31), turn left (South) on Old Tavern Road (Rt. 245). Great Meadow Field Events Center is 1 mile on left. From Middleburg: Go South on The Plains Road (Rt. 626). Take a right on Rt. 55. Turn left on Old Tavern Road (Rt. 245). Great Meadow Field Events Center is past I-66 for 1 mile on left. Entries

US riders:Entries for ALL FEI competitions must be submitted to the FEI through the USEF online entry systemhttps://www.usef.org/_AUAIFrames/FEI/Entry/Default.aspxor they will not be considered complete. There is no fee to submit an entry through this system. AthletesMUSTalso enter the events (and pay the entry fees) through the normal entry process. Please also pay close attention to the closing date in the FEI DefiniteSchedule. Foreign riders need to contact their National Federation. All non-US rider/horse combinations must first enter through their NF. All NFs must use the FEI Entry System for entries for this event (https://entry.fei.org). All athletes: In addition to the FEI entry system, all athletes must also enter using the USEA's 2019 CCI-S and CCI-L Entry Form. Athletes are encouraged to enter through the USEA Xentry system. See http://useventing.com/competitions/ and search for GMI for further details on the competition and XENTRY. XENTRY allows for payment via credit card. Electronic entries are only accepted through XENTRY. Entries can be filled out using Evententries but can NOT be submitted electronically.

WAITLIST. Up to 220 entries can be accommodated, but exact numbers will depend on the entry split for the different levels. If riders are selected from the wait list, the riders that withdraw will receive some refund. If there is a WaitList the rider's status will be shown on the entry status page on the website
Refunds:Before closing date all fees less $50 office fee. After closing date but on or before August 13, all fees less $100 if their entry can be filled from a waitlist. After August 13, fees less $150 but only if their entry can be filled from a waitlist.Withdrawals must be emailed to the secretary.
USEA Starter and D&M FeesRefund Policy:The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subject to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider whowithdraws before the dressage test.
Competition Cancellation- Dependent upon Organizers' financial ability.
Double Entries: Accepted with a $100 additional fee.

All U.S. horses and Riders must be registered with the USEF, USEA, and FEI. Please submit copies of USEF Membership Card for rider, trainer, and owner.
Entries should use USEA's 2019 CCI-S and CCI-L Entry Form.Copy of negative Coggins, within 12 months, must accompany entry. All entries must use the new FEI entry system in addition to the regular entry process above. All entries must be processed by their national federation.
Note: Va requires 30-day health certificate for horses entering state.
All horses must have an FEI Passport indicating required influenza primary series & boosters. All horses must have a current health certificate.There will be a fee of $50 for returning passports not retrieved at the end of competition.

Please note: Non-competing horses who wish stabling must have ID papers and vaccination records indicating required influenza primary series and boosters.

Competitor Information

The venue provides terrific viewing of the courses. The terrain is gently undulating and is on the racecourse and permanent grassland. It is designed to be a showcase event with a wide variety of questions. It is anticipated that there could well be a lot of spectators and supporters. Cross-country course closed and not available for schooling. Cross Country course is now completelyirrigated andimprovementsmade to the Fleming Farm track. CCI4-S:3800m @ 570 mpm;CCI3-S:3400m @ 550 mpm;CCI2-S:2900m @ 520 mpm Variety of obstacles: ditches, banks, drops & water. Excellent, irrigated footing throughout, rolling terrain, no rocks.

Awards

Awards: Ribbons Individual 1st-8th. Distribution as per FEI Regulations, Articles 128, 129 & 130;Possibility of special awards for under 25 and teams.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Stabling required for horses entered in the CCI4-S. Temp. stalls with doors;$275/stall, Wednesday noon through Sunday PM. It is possible to stable Tuesday night but there would be an additional fee and the entry would need to contact the secretary.Tack stalls, depending on availability: $275;For shavings and other expenses, provide an additional blank check payable to: Great Meadow International.Checks not deposited will be voided by Event Secretary. Twobags ofshavings are included in stabling fee. Additional bedding available for purchase. Stall doors provided.Damage fee:Please do not poke holes in the stall panels to hang stall guards. Panels are $275 each, and if damaged, the competitor will be responsible for this amount. Please note: Access to stable area will be limited to authorized individuals. Parking pass required for access to stables at all time.Please name all persons wishing to stable together. Other Information

Cross-country course always closed. The 2019 event is a major change from previous years. We will be running CCI2-S, CCI3-S, & CCI4-S. We can accommodate up to 220 riders. We have changed both the entertainment and the vendor village. Also the Organization Committee is now in charge of all aspects of the Event including entertainment and the vendor village. Check out the amazing arena and the numerous vendors. VIP and General Tickets for admission to the competition weekend are available in advance online. Spectators:There will be an attendance fee for all spectators starting on Friday and tickets are available for sale on the website. This event will be spectator-oriented with an extensive vendor village.In addition to general admission, tailgating options and VIP hospitality packages are available for sale on the website. Entertainment and events are planned throughout the weekend. Riders, Officials and Owners: There will be an air conditionedrider's lounge in stabling area for riders, grooms, officials and owners. Food and beverage will be available for sale throughout the weekend and the lounge will offer a chance to get out of the heat and relax.
