Welcome to Powder Basin Horse Trials 2019.
We are excited to continue our Preliminary Division this year and will offer a refreshed Intro through Training cross country courses with new tracks designed by John Michael Durr.
We are excited to have you come and school. $30.00 per schooling day or even better join our club for $30.00 individual, $50.00 family. Ride as often as you like. Opening to be announced on the PBEA website sometime in May once the footing improves.
Plan your schooling days! The course closes on Tuesday, June 25th!
<strong>Note, stabling not available on July 4th due to fireworks and
possible fire hazards in the area. Stabling will open on July 5th at 7
am. Local options can be found via Internet search.

Plan to join us Saturday night 7/6 for a participant and volunteer party. Always a good time!! Check the website closer to the event for any special games and competitions that night.
Come early on <strong>July 5th</strong> and participate in the Dressage Schooling Show on Friday, July 5th. See the PBEA website for entry. One free test for a commitment from you or a family member to be a XC jump judge on our cross country competition day!

Sun: Cross Country 8:00 AM. Awards per division available after final scoring of each division.

Fees
Event Fee Directory: XENTRY Required Payment (extra bedding provided to offset fees!) NO checks!!
Entry: P/PT: $225.00; T/N/BN: $200.00; Intro: $150.00. No additional USEA fees for Intro.
Stabling: $80.00 for the weekend - two bags of bedding included. Wash stall nearby.
Camping: RV Hookups Managed by Camplex directly - Phone 307-682-0552 - Indicate you have horses in the stalls in the North East corner of the facility.
Intro participants are exempt from USEA membership/non membership fees and the USEA Starter Fee does not apply.
Entry form, including signature page, stable form, coggins and vaccination record must be postmarked within 5 days of entering.
If space allows and post entries are accepted they will be charged an additional $30 late fee. ANY entry postmarked after Closing Date will be considered a late entry and the $30 late fee applies.
Entries made prior to Closing Date must be COMPLETED within 5 days after Closing or will also be considered a late entry and charged the $30 late fee. Late fee policy will be strictly adhered to!
Scratches/Changes must be in writing via email only. CHANGES after closing date will be charged $30.
Competitors must be prepared to show documentation of the following on request: Negative Coggins within 12 months and equine influenza virus and equine herpes virus (rhinopneumonitis) vaccinations within six months prior to entering the stables.
Health Certificates required for out of state horses. Brand inspection required in WY.
Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry-No refund.
Competition Cancellation: Refund after competition expenditures.
USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($25), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. Entries

All entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee.
BN and above must be USEA members and horses must be registered with USEA.
Intro is exempt from USEA Starter/D&M fees and USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived.
$30.00 fee for any changes or entries after closing date.

Awards
Awards & ribbons to 6th place after each division. Four (4) 1st place winners receive the coveted Powder Basin Belt Buckle.
Stabling/Veterinarian
Fri-Sun $80.00 for the weekend. 100+ perm stalls on grounds. Stall doors included. Two bags of shavings provided. Additional shavings will not be available to purchase on the show grounds. Several local farm stores have additional bedding. Send stabling form to the secretary. Cross-Country
Terrain is substantial so fit horses are suggested. Intro has water options and a half ditch, height goes to 2’3”. P - Intro - Updated distances and times closer to the event. Cross-country course closes Tuesday, June 23.
Other Information
Cross-country course closes June 23. Food and ice available nearby. DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AND ATTACHED TO A PERSON AT ALL TIMES. Loose dogs incur a $100 donation to be returned. Competitor Party Free to all - Saturday evening at Office.
We will open the gates to stabling on Friday morning, 7/10 at 7 AM.
