Go 0.7 mi to Rt. 112, Seneca Road (gas station on corner). Turn right. Go 4.2 mi. Turn right onto Partnership Rd. Go 0.7 mi. to Bittersweet Field on right. From Beltway 495: Take River Rd exit #39, toward Potomac. Go 11.3 mi to stop sign. Turn left at stop sign (still River Rd) & continue 1.4 mi. Turn right onto Partnership Rd (SVPC H.T. sign on corner). Go 0.7 mi. to Bittersweet Field on right. Alternate VA Route: From US Rt. 15 outside Leesburg, VA, turn on White's Ferry Rd. and take White´s Ferry to MD side. Go through Poolesville. Take right fork outside Poolesville onto Partnership Rd. Bittersweet Field on left. No large rigs allowed on Ferry.

There is some possibility, if numbers warrant, that we may run some Training divisions on Sunday and those riders will know at least one week in advance. One Modified division will be held on Saturday. Sun: All M/N/BN/Starter (Elementary). Schedule may be adjusted based on entries - check website regularly

Refunds: All entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. Before close date - full refund minus $25 office fee. After close date - less $50 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subject to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. Competition cancellation - refunds or rebates will be provided - amount will be determined after payment of expenses. Please note that while you can fill out an entry using Event Entries, entries will not be transmitted electronically and must be mailed or e-mailed to the Secretary. Only Xentry provides electronic transmission of your entry. Incomplete entries (including failure to pay all fees) subject to late fees if not completed by close date and will be put on wait list. Xentry entries must e-mail/mail signature page, coggins and payment (if necessary) to Secretary within five (5) days of on-line entry or before closing date, whichever occurs first. Double entries not accepted. Copy of current negative coggins must accompany entry: negative coggins required for all horses. Please print a legible email address for notification purposes. Note: All distances and speeds are approximate.. Intermediate and Preliminary Cross Country Courses are of moderate difficulty and are for horses with some experience at that level. Lower level courses are inviting and good for young horses looking transition to the next level. Terrain is slightly rolling with the majority of the courses in open fields. Recent improvements include reconfiguration of the bank complex (Kip's Corner) to a series of mounds which will allow for a more forward riding experience. Fields will be aerated as needed and as permitted by weather conditions. See website for photos of recent courses. Cross-country competition course closed after June 1, 2019.

Other Information

Capital Region Pony Club Eventing Rally is run in conjunction with the Horse Trials and participants will have a dedicated parking area and HM area. U.S. Pony Club members are exempt from the USEA Membership requirement at the Novice and Beginner Novice levels when competing in team competitions or Pony Club rallies held in conjunction with USEA recognized horse trials. Horse registration is also exempt at the Novice and Beginner Novice levels for Rally participants. Cross-country competition course closed after June 1, 2019. Competition course open for public schooling only on scheduled schooling days. Riders may be limited on number of horses for entire event. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food on grounds. Dogs must be leashed. No non-competing horses on grounds; no hacking out on grounds prior to competition date. No motorbikes on x-c while horses are on course. Please follow instructions from parking attendants for trailer parking. Official schooling days June 19, 22, and 29, from 9 am to 4 pm =$50. Check website for additional days. No advance registration necessary; release forms will be posted on website. Copy of current negative coggins required (even if you submitted a coggins with your HT entry).
