New this year - Area IV AR/YR Team Challenge:Join in the fun and also ride with a team. Awesome prizes to be given including neck ribbons, custom shirts and saddle pads from It's a Haggerty's. Teams of 4 at each level (BN-P) with 3 lowest scores to count. 1 team member must be member of Adult Rider program and 1 team member must be a Young Rider program member. The other 2 members may or may not belong to either organization. No costs to enter, but teams must be registered with the show secretary prior to the start of dressage Friday morning. Please email the show secretary the names of the individuals on your team, along with your team name.
Awards
Trophy & 8 ribbons per division. Prizes sponsored by Barrington Saddlery. Many perpetual trophies, with silver awarded. There will also be terrific AR/YR Team Challenge Awards.
Stabling/Veterinarian
Stabling on site, temp & perm. stalls with doors-$175 Thurs.-Sun. Request for group stabling use one name (i.e: barn or trainer). Check-in starts at 12:00 pm Thursday- please no early arrivals without prior permission from Organizer. Please check website for stabling assignments. 1 bag initial bedding provided. Additional bedding for sale onsite, $8.00. Please leave stalls without manure and urine and help out by removing as much shavings as possible - your help is appreciated! Limited electricity.

Cross-Country
Cross Country course closed starting sundown of June 7th.
IP/P-2800+/- m @ 520 mpm; T-2550+/- m @ 450 mpm N-2050+/- m @ 400 mpm BN-1600 m+/- @ 350 mpm. Starter-1600 m+/-@300 mpm, inviting obstacles, max. 2'3". Natural grass footing well maintained and aerovated. Terrain is wooded trails, prairie, gently rolling country. Average difficulty for horses with some experience at these levels. Other Information
Cross country maintenance program is ongoing. We are continually developing new tracks, aerovating and seeding, and adding new jumps at each level. Please refrain from schooling when the ground is soft and wet! We areprivilegedto be able to use the Spring Creek Forest Preserve of Cook County. Please respect their regulations: ABSOLUTELY NOUNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES ON CROSS COUNTRY COURSE. NO BIKES ON COURSE. ALL GOLF CART DRIVERS MUST HOLD VALID LICENSE. NO GOLF CARTS ON COURSE UNLESS OPERATED BY FRVPC HT PERSONNEL. NO CAMPING on Forest Preserve Property, NO TENTS OR FIRES ALLOWED. ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AND PLEASE CLEAN UP MESSES.
Levels may be eliminated/divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and include birth date on entry.
No matter what level you ride, you must submit the 2018 Entry form signature page signed by rider, owner/agent and trainer.
All riders must sign the Barrington Hills Park District Release and FRVPC Release. If you are under 18 years old, release forms must be signed by your Parent/Guardian. Mail/fax to secretary with rider information clearly listed or bring to Check-in.
