Starr Witness and Doug Payne put in a dazzling performance in the mare's first Advanced level event at the Pine Top Advanced Horse Trials, taking home the win on a score of 25.8.
In the other Advanced division at the Pine Top Advanced Horse Trials, Liz Halliday-Sharp and Cooley Quicksilver had an impressive performance, winning on a score of 29.6.
At the Rocking Horse Winter II Advanced Horse Trials, Buck Davidson scored the first, second, and fourth slots in the Advanced B division with Carlevo, Erroll Gobey, and Copper Beach, respectively.
The Advanced A division at Rocking Horse was topped by Canadian Lisa Marie Fergusson and Honor Me on a score of 36.9.
Frankie Thieriot Stutes and Chatwin were out and about at the Fresno County Horse Park Horse Trials last month, stretching their legs at the Preliminary level after a bit of a hiatus at the end of 2019.
Before the horses ship over to Red Hills International this coming weekend, many of them will be stopping off at the Ocala Horse Properties Eventing Prix Invitational, the brainchild of Max Corcoran and Scott Keach, on Tuesday, March 3.
The winners of the Red Hills International CCI4*-S from the last three years are all returning this year to see if they can reclaim the title, and there are several ones to watch in the Advanced division as well.
