USEA Podcast #250: The One Where We All Meet

The 250^th episode of the USEA Official Podcast is here and it has a new look and feel for a new decade! Strap in and get ready to hear about some of the highlights in store on the U.S. eventing calendar this year.

• The 2020 USEA Educational Symposium is taking place later this month at Barnstaple South in Ocala, Florida, February 17-20 with featured clinician Andreas Dibowski. If you are interested in attending, please fill out a registration form here.
• Twin Rivers is bringing a CCI4*-L to the spring West Coast eventing calendar on April 9-12 in Paso Robles, California. Check out the USEA Prize List for additional details.
• With the pressure on in an Olympic year, the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event in Lexington, Kentucky, April 22-26 is sure to be exciting.
• The USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championships will take this place at Chattahoochee Hills in Fairburn, Georgia, May 16-17. The Intercollegiate Eventing Program has helped to bridge the gap that has in the past sprung up between high school-aged riders and riders in their mid-20s.
• The North American Youth Championships at Rebecca Farm, July 22-26, provide a platform for young riders to prepare for the opportunity to represent their country as senior riders.
• The Maryland Five-Star at Fair Hill is bringing a second CCI5*-L to North America, only the seventh one in the world. This creates even more opportunities for riders around the world to compete at the top level.
• Volunteerism is the backbone that U.S. eventing sits upon – without our volunteers the sport could not exist as it does. The 2019 USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds ran on the manpower of hundreds of volunteers, all dedicated to keeping the sport of eventing alive.
• The year will close out at the 2020 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention, December 10-13 in Albuquerque, New Mexico – a great opportunity for riders to gather for four days of educational and informative sessions led by experts in their respective fields.
• The 250th episode closes with an exclusive interview with 2019 USEA Rider of the Year Boyd Martin.
