By USEA | October 7, 2008

Here are even more photos for your viewing pleasure from last week's 2008 USEA/EMCO Future Event Horse Championships held at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia. Check out some of these fine youngsters - one of them may be the next Rolex Kentucky winner... or your next Novice partner!

Scott Douglas showed his and Michelle Douglas's Lady Luckenbooth in the 3yo Fillies class.
This lovely filly is a Cleveland Bay/TB sired by Forbes Native Statesman and out of Filly Grande.
Lady Luckenbooth looked very precocious during her judging! She received a 73.4 and a 2nd place finish in this class.
Marcia Brody showed her own Airokomo in the 3yo filly class. Airokomo is an Oldenburg sired by Iroko and out of Gold Marquesa.
This striking filly will definitely turn heads in the show ring in the future!
Top winner of the day was Terri Impson's 3yo filly Summer Solstice.
This lovely Hanoverian/TB is sired by Sunlight xx and out of St Pr. Haupstutbuch.
"Chelsea's" floating gaits wowed the judges who gave her a score of 74.9. Hopefully this will be Terri's next Advanced
They won not only the 3yo Filly class, but the 3yo Championship and Grand Championship as well.
Bally's Cracker was handled by a member of the O'Connor Event Team for owners John & Diane Pingree.
Bally's Cracker is a TB sired by the famous event stallion Welton Double Cracker and out of the four-star event mare Bally Mar.
Bally's Cracker placed 3rd in her class, and with any luck will hopefully live up to her famous ancestors!
Christine Smith handled Lauren Lenfest's adorable pony gelding Beau Geste.
Beau Geste is a New Forest/ Welsh pony cross by Wicked Court Jester and out of Mine Forever.
What a great little sport pony this guy's going to make! He scored an impressive 72.4 to place second in the 3yo Colts/Geldings class.
Lauren Kieffer handled Karen O'Connor's Double Take in the 3yo Colt/Gelding class.
Double Take is a TB also sired by the famous Welton Double Cracker and is out of Jilly Bean.
Valerie Vizcarrondo handled Darcy Bowie's Welton Alexander.
Welton Alexander is also sired by Welton Double Cracker and out of Quality Diamond.
They scored a 67.8 in the competitive class.
Mark Susol of Cool Breeze Farm showed his young stallion Talladega.
This lovely AWS colt is sired by the Susol's late stallion Manahawk and out of Kizzy.
His expressive trot wowed the judges earning him a 77.1 and a first place finish in the 3yo Colts/Geldings class and was reserve in the 3yo Championship class.
Mark and Talladega accept their awards and praises from judge Eileen Pritchard-Bryan.
Reserve Grand Champion Just About Perfect owned and shown by Lauren Seitz.
The Champions - Summer Solstice with her owner and handler Terri Impson.
Terri and Lauren share a hug, while the fillies pose for a photo op.
