The first day of competition at The Dutta Corp. Tryon International Three-Day Event was a busy one, with more than 100 horse-and-rider combinations taking to the dressage arena in the CCI1*-L, CCI2*-L, CCI3*-L, and The Dutta Corp. USEF CCI4*-L Eventing National Championship.

The inaugural Adequan/USEF Eventing Youth Team Challenge Temecula – West Coast Final concluded on Saturday with awards being presented in both the CCI3*-L and CCI2*-L divisions. Audrey Sanborn (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) and OBOS Quality Time placed first in the YTC CCI3*-L and third overall, finishing on a 37.3, while Harper Click (Fall City, Wash.) led YTC Team A to victory in the CCI2*-L, earning top honors in YTC competition, and completing on a 31.5.

The Adequan/USEF Eventing Youth Team Challenge Temecula showcased young and upcoming talent on a competitive day of cross country on a beautiful fall California day. Three competitors contested the CCI3*-L track, while six moved forward from dressage to take on the CCI2*-L. Competition will conclude tomorrow, following the second horse inspection at 8:00 a.m., with stadium beginning at 10:00 a.m. PST for the CCI3*-L and 1:00 p.m. PST for the CCI2*-L.

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce the increase in age for eligibility in the USEA Young Rider program to USEA members aged 25 and under, effective immediately.

US Equestrian is pleased to announce the addition of two new 2021 dates for the Adequan®/USEF Eventing Youth Team Challenge (YTC):

A total of 29 youth athletes participated in the inaugural Adequan/USEF Eventing Youth Team Challenge Aiken on March 25-27, 2021, at Stable View Farm in Aiken, S.C., representing USEA Areas I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VIII.

US Equestrian has announced the inaugural host locations for the 2021 Adequan/USEF Eventing Youth Team Challenge, the newly evolved format of the former North American Youth Championships (NAYC). The Adequan/USEF Eventing Youth Team Challenge offers opportunities for eventing athletes ages 14-25 to gain valuable experience in a team competition environment representing their respective United States Eventing Association (USEA) Areas at the FEI CCI 1/2/3* levels.

US Equestrian has announced the extension of the Area Declaration deadline for the Adequan/USEF Eventing Youth Team Challenge to February 15, 2021. All interested U.S. athletes must submit an Area Declaration and a one-time application for the upcoming competition year.
