The USEA is saddened to hear about the passing of Mary Annette "Minna" Renz (nee Kelly) who passed away quietly in the early hours of October 22nd, 2025, at the age of 96. She had been in long-term care in Uxbridge, Ontario, for the last three years of her life.

The USEA is saddened to hear of the passing of Bonnie Stedt on Sept. 5. She was 81. A die-hard eventer, Stedt competed with the USEA through 2016. In 2010, Stedt joined the Neville Bardos Syndicate as an owner for five-star eventer Boyd Martin.

The USEA is saddened to learn of the passing of dedicated eventing volunteer Dr. William H. Henry on Aug. 14. He was 95.

The USEA is saddened to learn of the passing of Tom Neuman on July 3. He was 77. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Neuman’s life was marked by deep love, enduring dedication, and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit.

Iris Winthrop Freeman died on May 26 at Groton House, in Hamilton, Massachusetts, where she had grown up.

The USEA is saddened to share the passing of Dr. J. Allen Leslie DVM, a distinguished veterinarian, who died peacefully on April 3 surrounded by family and loved ones at his farm in Christiana, Pennsylvania. He was 84.

The USEA is saddened to share the passing of Helena "Lana" Allaire duPont Wright. Wright of Chesapeake City, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on April 23 at the age of 85.

The USEA is saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Dr. Timothy “Tim” Holekamp on April 19. He was 79.
