The US Equestrian Federation is seeking to appoint two Sport Programs Assistants to work with the Olympic Disciplines of Dressage, Eventing and Showjumping as well as the Non-Olympic Disciplines of Reining and Endurance. Under the direction of the Managing Directors of Dressage and Eventing, these positions support the Sport Department’s mission to put in place programs that will identify talented athletes and horses, assist with their development and ultimately win medals in international competition. This includes logistics for riders/teams; partnering with various organizations, departments, committees, and communities; ensuring effective communication among stakeholders; administering related programs, and assisting the Managing Directors with accounting and other related activities.
This is an exciting time for the Sport Department as it grows and restructures; these roles will develop and change and present an ideal opportunity for self-motivated, dynamic, committed and driven people interested in working with Olympic and international sports.
The positions are based in Lexington (KY) and will involve travel and some weekend work.
