CCI Bromont Three Day Event announces $10,000 prize for The Greenbrier Team Cup Competition!

The Bromont Three Day Event Organizing Committee proudly announces the Greenbrier Farm Team Cup Competition. Prize money of $10,000 Cdn, generously donated by Greenbrier Farm, will be awarded to the members of the 1st and 2nd placed teams competing in the CCI divisions of the 2009 edition of the Bromont Three- Day Event The Todd Sandler Challenge held June 11th to 14th, 2009 in Bromont Quebec.
Celebrating its twenty-third year of eventing competition, the Greenbrier Farm Team Cup adds a new feature to CCI Bromont and is made possible thanks to the innovation and support of Nicole and Alan Shinton of Greenbrier Farm. The Greenbrier Farm Team Cup will be an opportunity for CCI riders to come together in friendly team competition.
The overall winner of the CCI 3* division will be awarded the Todd Sandler Challenge Perpetual Trophy.
The overall winner of the CCI 2* division will be awarded the Eamon Perpetual Trophy
Internationally renowned course designer Derek di Grazia, (USA) will again put his signature on the CCI 3*, CCI 2* CCI/CCI JY 1* and CIC 1* courses expertly constructed by Canadian Jay Hambly and his team. Local competitors will also have the opportunity to test their skills on the newly re-designed Training division course.
Conditions for the team challenge are as follows:
Each team must be comprised of one horse/rider combinations.
Each team must be comprised of one horse/rider combination from each of the CCI divisions (3*,
2* and 1*)
A rider may compete on more than one team however a horse may only compete on one team.
It is encouraged that a team be comprised of riders of the same nationality.
Teams may be sponsored.
Scoring and final classification will be in accordance with FEI rules for Eventing. Team entry must be made on the Greenbrier Farm Cup entry form and submitted to the secretary by 5 p.m.
Thursday June 11th.
Team entry fee is $100.00 CA.
