Mother Nature helped welcome nearly 150 upper-level event riders back to Fair Hill, Maryland, for one of the first – and northernmost – international competitions of the spring season in Area II. On a week that started with bone-rattling cold wind, snow, and sleet, the Fair Hill competitors and officials enjoyed mild, breezy, sunny days that invited shorts and shades.

At the end of a busy day wrapping up the dressage phase of The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International Three-Day (FHI), two new riders took over the top of the leaderboards. Mara DePuy and Congo Brazzaville Z moved into first in The Dutta Corp./USEF CCI4*-L Eventing National Championship with their 28.6, while Alexa Gartenberg and Louis M claimed the pinnacle position in The Dutta Corp./USEF CCI3*-L Eventing National Championship on a 25.9.

Dressage took center stage on the blustery first day of The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International Three-Day with both the CCI4*-L and CCI3*-L kicking off. Will Coleman and Dondante owned by Team Rebecca LLC and The Four-Star Eventing Group sit atop the leaderboard in the CCI4*-L division after earning a 33.8.

Many of eventing's biggest stars - including Olympic, World Games, and Pan American Games medalists - have confirmed their entries for the prestigious 2019 Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International (FHI), October 17-20. The impressive list of entries includes U.S. Olympic veterans Phillip Dutton, Lauren Kieffer, Clark Montgomery, and Boyd Martin. Martin is fresh from winning double gold medals at the 2019 Pan American Games.

The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International Three-Day Event (FHI) will feature family fun when it returns to the Fair Hill Natural Resource Management Area, October 17-20. Featuring the nation's best horses and riders competing in the U.S. Equestrian CCI4*-L and CCI3*-L Fall Eventing Championships and the USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championships presented by Dubarry of Ireland, The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International will present live music, dog competitions, shopping, fantastic fall food, and multiple demonstrations.

The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International Three-Day Event (FHI) will host the U.S. Equestrian CCI4*-L and CCI3*-L Fall Eventing Championships along with the USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championships presented by Dubarry, October 17-20 at the Fair Hill Natural Resource Management Area. The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International will award $50,000 in prize money.

Fair Hill International in partnership with the Fair Hill Foundation today announced Ian Stark has been hired to design its new cross-country course in preparation of hosting a five-star competition in 2020. As Fair Hill’s cross-country course designer, Stark will direct the layout of the new track and utilize the terrain to make it both unique and challenging.

It was a West Coast invasion Friday at the 2018 Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International with Californians sweeping international and young horse divisions. Frankie Thieriot Stutes leads The Dutta Corp./USEF CCI3* Eventing National Championship and Heather Morris took over The Dutta Corp./USEF CCI2* Eventing National Championship.

The 2018 Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International (FHI) was buzzing with excitement Thursday as international competitors and young horses performed their dressage tests. By day's end Bobby Meyerhoff led the way in The Dutta Corp./USEF CCI2* Eventing National Championship with his own Almanac.
