Saturday dawned sunny and warm at the 2013 Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships, but late in the afternoon a quick storm blew through the Texas Rose Horse Park. The Intermediate division had finished their show jumping and the Advanced riders were waiting on deck. As the storm approached, riders and spectators were urged to take cover and the Adequan Gold Cup Advanced division was put on hold. At the same time, on the cross country, a couple of Beginner Novice riders were out on course when the storm arrived. Take a look and listen to Harley Cozewith talk about her ride, and see a time lapse of the storm as it rolls in and out. Interview by Caroline Culbertson.
