Chris Barnard to Offer Show Jumping Seminar at USEA Annual Meeting

Back by popular demand, the Show Jumping seminar will once again be offered at the USEA Annual Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. The day will begin at 9:00 AM at The Hyatt Regency Albuquerque Hotel with a discussion and theory of show jumping course design.

The afternoon session will be conducted at the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Posse and include the hands-on building of a show jumping course with help from the Watermelon Mountain Pony Club as demo riders.

Attendance at this seminar will fulfill the USEF Continuing Education Clinic Requirements for “R” Eventing Jumping Course Designers, as well as the training program for those who wish to obtain an “R” EVJCD license. It is also open to anyone who wishes to learn more about eventing show jumping course design.

A nominal fee of $60.00 will be charged to cover lunch and beverages throughout the day.

Cohesion Comes First for the Randolph-Macon College Eventing Team

If you attended the USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing Championships this year at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina, you would have been hard pressed to look anywhere on grounds without seeing Randolph-Macon College’s signature yellow and black school colors buzzing around. The college fielded a personal record-breaking five teams made up of 18 students at this year’s championship and brought a substantial entourage of grooms, supporters, and fans along for the ride as well.

Milestone Results for Top West Coast Horses and Riders at Woodside

International competition at the 2024 Woodside Fall International on Oct. 4-5 produced the first-ever win by Molly Duda and Disco Traveler at four-star, cemented the comeback by Tamie Smith and Kynan with their second victory in a month at three-star, and represented the third two-star win in a row by Gabriella Ringer and Get Wild as well as the fourth blue ribbon this season at either one-star or Modified by Amber Birtcil and Milagro.
