Winter in Area V is both a blessing and a curse to most eventing enthusiasts. These short few months typically mark a lull in show activity due to impending holidays and the chilly, wet weather. Event riders are given the opportunity to rest their horses, take some much needed time off, or focus solely on training work at home.
