Derby Day - Exciting and Educational
For many, hearing the word derby invokes thoughts of fast horses, colorful jockeys, mint juleps and Louisville, Kentucky. But, on August 16, a different type of derby was held at Meadow Run Farm in Florence, Alabama – a derby that involved event riders who were every bit as colorful as their Louisville counterparts.
