Address: 4128 Roots Tavern Road, Geneseo, NY 14454. From East & West: Thruway Exit 46 to 390 South to Exit 9/Lakeville. Left off exit (Rt.15 S) for 9/10 mi. to first right on Triphammer Rd. to end. Left on Rt. 39 to second right on Roots Tavern Rd. Grounds 1/2 mile on left. From South: Rt. 390 to Exit 7/Geneseo. Right off Exit. Follow signs to Geneseo. Left on Main St. (Rt. 39). Second left after High School to Roots Tavern Rd. Grounds 1/2 mile on left. Roots Tavern Rd. is approx. 4 miles from Geneseo.

Tentative Schedule:
Fri: Stabling opens at Noon; Cross-country course opens at 3 pm.
Sat: Dressage begins 8 am.
Sun: Cross-country to start at 8 am; Show Jumping to start at 9:30 am.  All levels will complete their cross country and show jumping phases on Sunday. Scheduling the order of cross country and show jumping for divisions will be determined based on  the number of entries at each level. Please check our web site for approximate times and schedule of your jumping phases for each level.  Thank you!

Fees:
Draw checks to GVRDC. All P, T, N, BN competitors should use 2017 USEA entry form. Levels may be further divided, JR/SR if warranted. 
Entry: P/T: $195.00; N/BN: $180.00.
Stabling: $110.00; Clean Stall Deposit: $40.00 (separate check).

Refunds: Before CD: Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After CD: only if entry can be filled from wait list; Stabling only if stall can be filled from wait list. Competition cancellation: partial credit refund.  USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Entries:
Please check GVRDC website (www.gvrdc.org) for any changes before completing entry. All entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee.  Draw checks to GVRDC, please use 2017 entry form.  Entry confirmation will be posted on www.gvrdc.org. Double entries: Not accepted. USEA membership and horse registration required for all levels. Refunds: Before CD: Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After CD: only if entry can be filled from wait list; Stabling only if stall can be filled from wait list. Neg. Coggins required for all out of state horses within 12 months of competition; Neg. Coggins for New York State horses dated on or after January 1, 2016. Coggins must accompany entry. Entry Status: Please check website (www.gvrdc.org) for entry status. Please note that entries are not considered complete until signed, paid in full, and include complete paperwork (i.e., coggins and signatures). In fairness to all incomplete entries will not be placed in draw until complete. Changes: $25 fee for all entry changes after CD. Post Entries: If event is undersubscribed by CD, post entries will be accepted. Post entry fees after the published close date are:  P/T=$220, N/BN=$205 and must be received by secretary by August 9th. GVOTTB Series: Open to all OTTBs who have raced at least once. Use entry form on website: gvrdc.org. Please use horse's racing name and T.I.P. number so we can verify eligibility. 

Rider and Horse will be offered in accordance with the Rider & Horse definition under Appendix 3 1.5 & 1.6 of the 2017 USEF Rules for Eventing.   
Competitor Information
Awards:
Prizes & 8 ribbons per division.
GVOTTB Awards: Ribbons for 1-6 in BN, N, T, and P divisions as well as prize money for first and second place.  Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP) Awards: Intro through Preliminary levels ribbons and prizes.  Eligibility,  Riders/owners must submit a TIP number for all horse/rider combinations to the secretary prior to the start of competition.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
Limited. $110/stall from Friday noon to Monday noon and includes one complimentary bale of shavings  Please be sure to conserve your water usage.  Our water source is trucked in for the event and therefore limited. Enclose separate $40 refundable check payable to GVRDC as clean stall deposit (check will be destroyed when stall is stripped). 48 permanent stalls on grounds. Stall doors. Additional tented stalls on grounds, if needed. Additional shavings available for purchase. Further info from secretary. Veterinarian: Genesee Valley Equine Clinic (585) 889-1170). Please go to gvrdc.org for complete listing of hotels. Quality Inn-5 mi., (585-243-0500); Hampton Inn-5 mi., (585-447-9040). Camping: Parking for RVs, but no hook-ups
Dressage:

Test & arena sizes: P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test B-Standard.  T-2014 USEF Training Test B-Sm.  N-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas: Sand & possibly grass. Warm-up: Grass.

Cross-Country:

P3000m @ 520 mpm. T-2400m @ 450 mpm. N-2000m @ 375 mpm. BN-1800 m @ 350 mpm. Terrain: Water, ditches & banks. All courses: Inviting,  challenging, over beautiful Geneseo fox hunting territory! Cross-country course closed until after event.

Other Information:
Cross-country course closed until after event. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and list birth date on entry.  Food on grounds. Dogs leashed. Owners of loose dogs will be fined $25.
