From I-80: Traveling East Exit #249 Herbert Hoover Hwy East (L) towards West Branch 2.9 miles, North (L) on paved road, Oasis. 3 miles West (L) on gravel Elmira Rd; 1 mile, Located at red barns with large blue silo. Traveling West Exit #249 Herbert Hoover Hwy (R) into Herbert Hoover Hwy (R) toward West Branch and as above.

Fri: Barns open 10 a.m., Cross-country opens 3 p.m. Due to unloading congestion, early arrival is encouraged.
Sat: Dressage  7:30 a.m.; Cross-country - 9:30 a.m.
Sun: Show Jumping - 7:30-8 a.m.

Electronic entries may be completed through USEA's Xentry, then signed and mailed.  Payment may be made with credit card on USEA website or print entry and send with a check.

Fees:

Entries:           
$390.00 for BN, N, T and P, includes stabling (F-Sunday, extra day $35), 1 bag initial bedding and office fee $25.
Camping:        $120.00/wkend limited, MUST specify electrical needs, reserve w/entry.
Golf cart:        $110.00/wkend, reserve to secretary w/entry - limited.
Tack Stall:      $125.00 available in portable stalls only.
Bedding:         $8.00 limited at show/add per entry purchased with entry, $10.00 purchased during show.         
Post CD:         $50.00 late entry, or changes to entry division, horse, rider.
NSF:                $50.00 collected before entry/CC Only.
Competitor Dinner (Saturday): Tickets $13.50, Riders receive one free ticket with entry.


Refunds: Before Closing Date-Less $25 office fee; After Closing Date-Withdrawals require vet/physician statement, and refund minus stabling and office fee of $50. No telephone withdrawals accepted, e-mails only.  Competition cancelation-No refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21) are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.




Entries:
Entry includes a $25 non-refundable office fee. Entries are considered complete only when paper entry, signatures (rider, owner and trainer), fees, Coggins, and other relevant information (including emergency contact and horse/rider experience) are received by the secretary.  Withdrawals accepted by email only before 9 p.m. on the closing date. No changes to entry starting Monday before the event. Post entries accepted if space available with $50 late fee. Any and all changes to entries after closing date incur $50 fee. Stallion entry by permission of organizer only, additional tack stall required.
Preliminary: Riders: USEA, USEF required or $30 non member Horse: USEA , No USEF.  Owners: No USEA, USEF required or $30 non member fee. Please include USEF cards for rider and owner or include fee.
USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full or Life) and horse registration (Limited for T, N, BN or Full) are required at all levels.  
Coggins: Negative Coggins dated within 12 months. Heath Certificate: CCCHT does not require HC, mandatory for out of state horse traveling through Iowa with 30 days.
Competitor Information
Awards:

Trophy and 10 ribbons per division, prizes and trophies. Area IV Adult Rider Low Point.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
Initial Bedding provided, collect at check in.  Permanent stalls need to be stripped, portable stalls do not.
49 permanent stalls on grounds; stall doors provided, otherwise temporary stalls on grounds with fronts, electric hook up, 10' x 10'. 
Stable Assignments:  GROUPS please enter using the same name in block for reservation, i.e, stable name or one person's last name.

Accommodations:
Clarion Hotel Highlander Conference Center - 5 miles (319) 354-2000.  Special rate of $89 per night if you reserve with group "Catalpa Corner". 
Hotel rate will only be available for registrations made by 7/2/17.  Please note free wifi and breakfast will be included at this hotel.

Travel Lodge - 5.5 mi (319)-351-1010.  Homewood Suite, 8 mi (319) 338-3410 .   Hampton Inn-8 mi (319) 351-6600.  Holiday Inn Hotel-9 mi., (319) 351-5049.  Marriott 8 mi (319) 664-4000.  Multiple hotels all within 10 miles. Large university town; see website for additional hotels and restaurant information.

Camping:  Electrical hook-ups available on event grounds, limited, must be signed up with entry.  Electrical requirements required with entry.
Dressage:
Test and arena sizes:  P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test B-Standard  T-2014 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm.  Established grass rings.
Cross-Country:

Novel pathways for each division with terrain and new natural stream crossing. Courses may feature galloping flats, woods, pastoral, natural streams, and terrain. 
Aerovation of galloping lanes, and rings as needed.

Cross-country schooling available on Sunday, must sign separate CCCHT release and $40/horse.  Riders must have someone over 18 accompanying them on course during schooling. 
Concessions on grounds Saturday and Sunday.
Golf cart drivers must be 18 years old, no exceptions.
No unauthorized motorized vehicles on X-C.
Dogs must be leashed or $100 fine.  Better yet, please leave them at home as it is hot in August in Iowa.
No dogs on cross-country course during Saturday competition.
Competitor dinner Saturday night will be held, riders receive one free ticket with entry, additional tickets may be bought with entry or by August 4th at 10 pm.
